This article is from Vox, which, in the past, Donna and Curt both have linked as real news.

And, the Supreme Court did rule on Third Country Deportations. I was shopping for a best article on the decision but decided to link to the Vox insane woke Swampcult article instead.

To save ole pb time, just assume there's a bahaha after nearly every sentence. Keehee ha!

The decision nullifies a treaty designed to protect immigrants from torture.

In a short, one-paragraph order, the Republican justices ruled on Monday evening that President Donald Trump may effectively nullify a federal law and an international treaty that is supposed to protect immigrants from torture.

Justice Sonia Sotomayor responds to their silent decision in a 19-page dissent joined by her two Democratic colleagues.

The Court’s order is only temporary, and will permit Trump to send immigrants to countries where they may be tortured...

Bahaha!

That link did the same thing as the BB link. Don't know what's going on.

Here's an AP link before people start whining.

A divided Supreme Court on Monday allowed the Trump administration to restart swift removals of migrants to countries other than their homelands, lifting for now a court order requiring they get a chance to challenge the deportations.

The high court majority did not detail its reasoning in the brief order. Justice Sonia Sotomayor, joined by the other two liberal justices, issued a scathing dissent.

Hmmmm. OD, this may be something Curt needs to correct.

    HtS,
Why are you linking to "share.google" instead of Vox.com as I do below?
    vox.com

I did link to vox.com. I don't know how to link to share.google.

But you did link to share.google, whatever that is.

So the Homeless Hairdo is allowed to send immigrants to countries to be tortured and the board "Christian" laughs and thinks it's funny. Religion - in the end - is merely a beard for racists, bigots and psychopaths like Brown Shorts here.

    Hate,

Someone shared that to you in an email. You took that link right out of the email and shared it.

Instead, click the link, go to the Vox (or whatever) page, and then copy THAT link and paste it here.

    Navy,

No. I quoted directly from the Vox article.

What gets me is the extraordinary arrogance that sends them to another country that is alien to them. What if the UK and Canada, which both receive a lot of illegal migrants, start to deport them to the US?

"What if the UK and Canada, which both receive a lot of illegal migrants, start to deport them to the US?"

    HUH!!!!!?

If they're US citizens, I'm game. If UK/Canada feel they are a threat and don't want them, make arrangements and we'll do an exchange. If they're prior convicts/ felons, I'm sure that's a legit reason for sending them back. Not that we would "like" to have them again, but reason dictates we should.

If they committed crimes in their nation, they have first dibs on them to serve time there. OR if y'all want to dump them off on a shore somewhere, we'll pick them up. I would recommend the New federal prison they're going to build in the Everglades. You escape, your body may not be found again, depending on the gators and pythons. They'll identify you from snake shit.

The question is about non citizens, OD. The US is deporting them to countries of which they are not citizens. They have no connection with them.
