Organizers of the nationwide "No Kings Day" protests against President Trump’s policies say more than 5 million turned out in over 2,100 towns and cities across America.

Those millions included an estimated 200,000 people in Los Angeles, 100,000 in Philadelphia, 70,000 in Seattle and over 50,000 in New York City.

"Thank you for making it clear that we won't be ruled by fear," organizers said.

The protests – which coincided with Trump's birthday and the military parade in Washington, D.C. – were organized by the 50501 national movement and meant to counter what organizers called a day for Trump to feed his own ego as he turned 79 years old.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

I'm seeing totals from 5 to 6 million nationwide. From what I can find, the No Kings Protests essentially tied for the 3rd largest mass protest in American history.

Meanwhile, president Crackerass McRacistfuq's mass event in Washington came in with the record lowest attendance for a president's military birthday parade in U.S. history.

I just heard that world-wide participation, including the U.S., was 12,000,000.

Vancouver 'No King' rally reinforces support for American protests against Donald Trump

Hundreds of protesters rallied Saturday at the U.S. consulate in Vancouver and at Jack Poole Plaza

Langley’s Carly Butler held a megaphone Saturday morning as hundreds of demonstrators gathered at downtown Vancouver’s Jack Poole Plaza, protesting what organizers call the authoritarian drift of U.S. President Donald Trump.

    Article content
The 37-year-old, born in California, was brought to Canada by her mother in 1998 and spent most of her youth living in Northern B.C. as an undocumented immigrant.

“I lived in fear every day, I had no status and I kept that secret for years. I could not legally get a job,” Butler told the crowd, recounting how she was able to finally obtain Canadian citizenship 15 years ago.

“Right now, I am speaking up for my undocumented friends in the States who are afraid to leave their houses right now.”

So, y'know Canada has a king. They were protesting King Charles?

  5. by Ponderer on June 17, 2025 10:01 am

Folks, do you see why I believe that MAGA Hat Hate is too stupid of an idiot to even converse with? It's why I don't do it anymore. Most concepts are just too complex for him to arrange in his bone-filled skull. Even when it's explained in the link what it's about in detail, he is still too much of a pig-ignorant moron to understand it.

  6. by HatetheSwamp on June 17, 2025 10:13 am

    po,

You're the one who suggested that Canada had No Kings rallies. I knew all about it. The gang was laughing about it yesterday on The Five.

  7. by Ponderer on June 17, 2025 10:25 am

And MAGA Hat Hate is the one who won't look at the links that explain exactly what the Canadian participation in the No Kings protests held across this country were about. He's got some really stupid point and he just don't wanna let go of it.

For the Canadians who were protesting in solidarity with the United States, it was not to get rid of their king, but in support of Americans protesting the king-like actions of Trump.

But again, MAGA Hat Hate is too stupid to comprehend this simple and obvious fact.

  8. by meagain on June 17, 2025 1:37 pm
There were protests in the UK, too. My brother's daughter turned out for one in the small city of Chester.

And, Hate, Monarchists turned out, too. They were not protests against the King, who is a Constitutional Monarch, but against someone who harkens back to the "Divine Right" of absolute monarchs.

    Ponderer,

"Folks, do you see why I believe that MAGA Hat Hate is too stupid of an idiot to even converse with?"

Believe me. BELEIVE me. You're not alone on that one.

What really cranks up the frustration is watching how people like Hate reinforce each others' feelings of adequacy. Hate himself says on this thread, "The gang was laughing about it yesterday on The Five." No doubt, he was laughing right along, sitting on his couch and stuffing cheetos in his stupid face while he chuckled and chortled, feeling the pig-stupid confidence that folks like him tend to feel when other like-minded people agree with him. To watch a Trump supporter sitting in front of Fox News is to watch the concepts of tribalism, authoritarianism and group polarization leap off the page of a psychology text book and come to life.

Not too long ago, I was reading an article where someone commented that part of why Trump is popular is because he gives stupid people the confidence to feel like they can participate in politics again.

*holds open hands out in the direction of Hate*

    Behold.

    Navy, po,

As always, I wish I could be smart enuff to be a progressive. But, alas, I'm stoopid.

  11. by HatetheSwamp on June 19, 2025 3:39 am

The biggest hoot for me in all of this is the name of your highly organized and well-funded movement.

Barack Obama stretched the limits of Executive authority at least as much as Trump has. But, from the po progressive gang, never was heard a discouraging word. Apparently, if you agree, authoritarianism is groovy. That citizens of the British crown would hop on the No Kings theme, bahaha.

My second biggest hoot is that y'nes give your energy to these silly little protests when, by this time, when The ONE was President, the Tea Party was already choosing candidates for what would be one the most monumental off year election landslides in US history. Enjoy your occasional No Kings parties.

    Bahahahahahahahahahaha haha ha, ahhhhhhhh!

"As always, I wish I could be smart enuff to be a progressive. But, alas, I'm stoopid." -MAGA Hat Hate

What a pathetic claim. Just another of MAGA Hat Hate's lies. If he really wanted to simply know what we know, the facts are out there. But he is too adamant in his desire to remain willfully pig-ignorant.

    He actually likes being "stoopid".

I don't understand you obsession with the money and organizational aspects of No King's Day, Brown Shorts. You act like a couple D orgs and the party backing the event gives it some kind of advantage over the Homeless Hairdo's military birthday bash that had the Republican party and the full faith and credit of the United States government behind it. Are you saying a bunch of ex-hippy free loving pot heads are better at organizing and pulling off major protests than your orange-tinged "Art of the Deal" guy?

  14. by HatetheSwamp on June 19, 2025 10:44 am

    Indy,

I don't know how old you are. I was a 14 year old news junkie when the infamous Democratic National Convention happened. I watched Chicago police thugs bash anti-war protesters on the head with their billy clubs and I watched the protests continue undaunted.

There's nuthin about your almost, exclusively white suburban, middle and upper class, fashionable, protest-parties that resembles that. Nuthin at all. That's what I'm sayin. po says Saturday's protest was "WONDERFUL." No one said that after Chicago!

    So, please,...

Enjoy the elitist social gatherings. But, this ain't authentic protest. These are parties.

Can you imagine po keeping on and not whining and crying if Donna got Donna's noggin split open in the next protest-party? Not happnin.

    Bahahahahahahahahahaha haha ha, ahhhhhhhh.

  15. by Indy! on June 19, 2025 11:54 am

Now you're trying to make it about race? If it weren't for the military - there wouldn't have been ANY non-white people at Trump's birthday bash crash. Not a single non-white person in Trump's party...

EXAMPLE #13,671 of MAGA Hat Hate's absolute incapability to understand the concept of or ever make an equitable comparison.

He expects us to believe that a protest isn't really an actual "protest" unless riot cops are bashing people over the head with Billy clubs, teargas fills the air, and everyone is screaming obscenities at the pigs. All of which, if it had happened, he would be vehemently condemning all the protesters for bringing about such heinous and uncivilized violence.

He's pissed off because the No Kings protesters were so peaceful and that people were actually so joyful in their participation. And there's so little for him and other MAGA Hats to work with to condemn.

He simply can't comprehend the overwhelming satisfaction, the pure joy one experiences from publicly and patriotically sharing your grievances about this fascist, traitorous regime with other like-minded patriotic Americans in such gargantuan, record-breaking numbers... To be part of the biggest single day mass, nationwide protest in American history...

    .

  17. by Ponderer on June 19, 2025 3:21 pm

I for one want to get the most use that I can out of my Constitutionally protected First Amendment right to freedom of speech.

    While we're still allowed to.

    Noop.

"He simply can't comprehend the overwhelming satisfaction, the pure joy one experiences from publicly and patriotically sharing your grievances about this fascist, traitorous regime with other like-minded patriotic Americans..."

The closest comparison I can come up with for the "joy" you experience at one of your No Kings parties is attending a white suburban Evangelical mega church... like, say, Joel Osteen's in Texas, Keehee ha.

I still have no idea what the end y'nes have in mind... other than to socialize, and, maybe to ingest cannabis in one form or another. But, you ain't changing hearts, or minds.

  19. by Ponderer on June 20, 2025 9:09 am

MAGA Hat Hate wants us to believe that if every protester doesn't have a way thought out and published about how to fix the system, they shouldn't be publicly complaining about the system we have. It's just a waste of time to present to this country's leadership a mass protest that doesn't do much else than be a concrete, demonstrable action that shows the leadership that we hate the draconian policies and vast destruction they are foisting on this country.

The largest mass one day protest in American history was about the American people exercising their Constitutionally protected right to peaceably assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of their grievances.

MAGA Hat Hate will simply never understand it. So, he gloms on to and hides behind others who will also never understand it either.

  20. by HatetheSwamp on June 20, 2025 9:19 am

"MAGA Hat Hate wants us to believe that if every protester doesn't have a way thought out and published about how to fix the system, they shouldn't be publicly complaining about the system we have."

    Not at all.

Ole pb thinks you said it well. Here's an oxymoron. The protest caused you to experience joy.

Fine. I hope, for your sake that there are, say, four record-setting No Kings parties a year until Trump fades into the sunset. Enjoy!!!!! I hope Donna and you establish some meaningful woke friendships through them.

The parties ain't gunna matter a jot beyond the people who attend them.

  21. by Indy! on June 20, 2025 10:25 am

I've seen estimates as low as 2000 for the Homeless Hairdo's birthday "bash". That's why Brown Shorts is twitching in his panties right now.
