Trump "estimated" 200,000 people were there - but nobody else believes it was anywhere close to that number. Meanwhile the No Kings protests drew between 4 MILLION and 6 MILLION depending on the source.

Trump’s Military Parade Was a Pathetic Event for a Pathetic President
The turnout wasn’t anything like what he wanted—and not everyone who showed up was even a fan of his.

Three dozen horses, 28 Abrams tanks, 6,700 soldiers, and millions of taxpayer dollars later, and Donald Trump’s military birthday parade was still a flop at best.

A crowd that was well under the administration’s projected 200,000 peppered the National Mall Saturday in a festival style event featuring Army info sessions, military fitness challenges, weapons exhibits, and other activities prior to the parade. Military members spoke on stage the entire time to a sparse audience, as most of the attendees perused the various offerings, hoisting their children up into the massive tanks and turrets sitting on the mall for pictures.

    According to the Associated Press, attendance was well below the expected crowd of 200,000. Exact figures have not been determined, but weather conditions and the threat of thunderstorms could have factored in the large gaps between viewers near the Washington Monument.

    Forbes reports social media activists on TikTok claimed credit for the modest crowd size. Users in the U.S., Canada, Scotland and Australia claimed they reserved tickets with no plans to attend. One video showing people how to reserve tickets for the parade, which were free, received more than a million views.

    “I got 10 tickets here in Australia. Whoops, my bad, won’t be there,” one person wrote.

    About MAGAts. There are none currently posting on SS. tuk22 was here briefly but po's sanctimony and arrogance forced him away... again. Every time I posted with tuk, I begged him to stay, but I understand.

    If you count news sites as MAGAts, and you'd know this better than I, and, maybe Indy visited his dad and can chime in... from what I picked up, Fox News thought the parade was awesome and achieved its goal.

    I'll check podcasts on the right to see if they even mention it, but Megyn Kelly is on vacay. RUTHLESS will air tomorrow. If anything comes up on t'others, I'll let you know...

    ... but comparing the No Kings thing to the parade? Other than that they were on the same day?, they have nuthin in common. Numerous YouTube sites presented the parade. I'm guessing, from all the coverage, millions watched at least a little.

    I didn't. I wasn't interested. I'd have been more interested in going to a No Kings thing and standing on the outside of the crowd to gawk at the TDS lunes.

    You could see lots of empty seats in the grandstands as the poorly cadenced soldiers walked by. Shitler looked like he was sitting on the toilet trying to squeeze out a turd while constipated the entire time

    But, if the troops were poorly cadenced, they are the remnant of "that feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap's" DEI army, and, I'd expect it.

    I didn't watch the entire parade (did anyone?) but I've watched lots of clips, which are in the Meidastouch video.

    You can always count on the accuracy and integrity of a blogger's posts by how much MAGA Hat Hate says they lie. The greater insistence he makes about their dishonesty, the more you can be sure they are telling the truth.

    MAGA Hat Hate has never pointed out a single solitary lie in anything that The Midas Touch has presented. MAGA Hat Hate and the rest of the MAGA Hatters always attack and besmirch those who are the greatest threat to them of pointing out how much MAGA Hats and their glorious leader lie.

    It's similar to how they attack any Democrats who are the most effective against their policies by claiming they are terrible at their jobs.

    So this is how NYT, CNN, MSNBC, et al. made their money off of pedojoe. You're making it sound like this is the first time in human history that any of this bullsht has been done.

    I chose to look at this at the 250th birthday of the USArmy. And Flag Day. And Waylon's birthday. Other than that, there no significance to me. I know I wasn't a soldier, and, most other veterans (other than semengulperNAVY), support other veterans. There are exceptions that real veterans will make, PVT Edward Slovik, Those "unfit" for duty (mentally), and those prematurely "retired" because of being blown up, shot in the spine, or blinded by an enemy that many "amerikans" support.

    In 1998, Osama Bin Laden and the heads of four jihadist groups in Egypt, Pakistan and Bangladesh signed a declaration of total war, external against the United States and its allies, and called for the targeting of both soldiers and civilians. indy hasn't said it yet, but that's a viable defense against his most hated culture in the world. And YOU ARE a part of it, which means, you're an enemy.

    po and pb have been jousting on SS for pret'near two decades. Let me translate:

    When po has no meaningful retort, po always pulls the equitable comparison card.

    Fact? There are podcasts on both the left and the right which are purely polemical. po's beloved MeidasTouch podcast is, perhaps, the prime example of such a site on the left. Ole pb knows of equivalent sites on the political right, he avoids them. They make pb cringe.
