And the flaming racist bigot thinks he's being real cute about it too.

I won't post the whole article giving the details. You can read them all at the link. But it appears obvious that what the Executive White Supremacist is doing is reverting the names of military bases that were originally named after confederate officers and changed under Biden back to the original confederate names.

Except that he's pulling it off by naming the bases after white soldiers who have the same last names as the traitorous confederate the bases were named after originally.

The one that really got to me was the renaming of Fort Gregg-Adams. Originally named Fort Lee, after Traitorous American-Soldier-Killing Gen. Robert E. Lee, it was changed to Fort Gregg-Adams to honor two incredible black American patriots and heroes...

Lt. Gen. Arthur J. Gregg was an American military officer who on July 1, 1977, became the first African American in the U.S. Army to reach the rank of lieutenant general.

Lt. Col. Charity Adams — the other half of the name — led the first female Black unit of the Army deployed in World War II and was the commanding officer of the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion. She was the first African-American woman to become an officer in the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps (later WACs).

In fact, a movie was made about Lt. Col. Charity Adams and her unit, The Six Triple Eight, which I saw for the second time last night. She and her platoon of all black female soldiers were pessimistically given the herculean task of sorting and routing for delivery huge aircraft hangars filled to the rafters with bags of mail to and from soldiers that had backed up for three years during the last part of the war. Seventeen million pieces of mail. All previous attempts by white units had failed miserably, which was why it had stacked up for years. Adams was given six months to pull off the miracle, with the racist brass all but counting on her failure.

She and her incredible black female soldiers pulled it off in 90 days.

Morale in the military soared as letters that had been sent to them years before were finally delivered to them. And likewise, families who hadn't heard a word from their family members for years received everything their family members wrote to them. The 6888 was lauded as heroes. There probably wasn't a single soldier in the military who didn't think of them as such at the time. Lt. Col Charity Adams absolutely and without question deserved and earned the honor of having a base co-named after her.

But this white supremacist regime in power can't stand for that. A military base renamed to honor a black woman??? When it was originally named to honor a white traitor to the United States who was responsible for helping to kill more Americans than Hitler did??? That Shall Not Stand!

Fort Lee will now be named for Pvt. Fitz Lee, who received the Medal of Honor for heroism during the Spanish-American War, when he moved under fire to rescue wounded comrades.

Now, I am in no way at all besmirching the service of these white men who are being shamelessly exploited to replace the names of minority and women military officers and soldiers. They are simply being used. I am sure that it took president Crackerass Racistfuq's minions a while to find military personnel in our history with the same last names as the American troop killing traitors they wanted to re-honor. I wonder how many of those men who are being used this way would vomit at the thought of how they are being exploited to erase the history of fellow soldiers who were minority and women military heroes.

The fact simply and quite obviously is that if Pvt. Fitz Lee's name had been Pvt. Fitz Leed, regardless of his patriotic heroism, he would not be getting this honor. The same goes for all the other forts being reassigned their original confederate names. Say what you will, but this blatantly obvious fact will not be obfuscated or denied away.

What shamelessly immoral racist asshole pricks this administration is full of.

What's disgusting, ain't, po, is that BIPOC men support Trump at a higher rate than any GOP since LBJ? And, actually, they swung him the election. Yeeeha!

    Mo-rons!

  2. by Ponderer on June 13, 2025 8:54 am

The fact that white men were pretty much the only demographic to vote overwhelmingly for the White Supremacist, Misogynist Candidate is in fact disgusting. I'll agree with MAGA Hat Hate on that one.

But it's not surprising. This is 2025 America, where racism and misogyny now reign Supreme.

The bases being renamed. Which one's are being named after confederates?

  4. by Ponderer on June 13, 2025 9:51 am

I feel kind of silly trying to explain it to you when you apparently can't read, od.

  5. by Ponderer on June 13, 2025 10:13 am

    But hey, I'll humor you.

olde dude... Please explain to us how it's merely a wild, unintentional coincidence that all the bases originally named after confederate traitors and American soldier killers are being renamed after white soldiers and officers who just by shear happenstance have the same last name as the confederate traitors that Trump wants to re-honor......

  6. by Ponderer on June 13, 2025 10:16 am

    OR...

Maybe you can tell us why those minority soldiers and officers who were honored with having bases renamed after them actually didn't deserve the honors as much as the white men with confederate generals' names did...

  7. by Indy! on June 13, 2025 10:35 am

Amazing in 2025 we are facing these kinds of issues (again) and we have a "president" who's so petty he feels he has to undo everything Biden did much in the same way he tried to undo everything Obama did the first time this country was dumb enough to elect him. If anyone wonders why we are quickly and forever falling behind the rest of the civilized world - look no further than this "issue".

Now that said, we should also keep in mind that every time the Homeless Hairdo wastes time on something stupid like this - he gets closer to being back on the street hawking his meme coins and crying about how he lost the election rather than destroying America. So there's that.

    =========================================================

Now let's talk about the board Cop Killer. I've been saying all along that OD is a racist like his pal Brown Shorts (who has gladly and willingly admitted straight up he's a racist) but honestly? I never had any real quantifiable proof the Cop Killer was a racist. I was just going on my well honed instinct as to who is actually a racist or not based on my long history of living in the South. That is until now.... If he's defending this bullshit - Confederate soldiers / traitors to the United States / defenders of slavery - there is no doubt he is absolutely without any doubt as racist as they come. So I was correct the entire time. OD is a racist.

  8. by oldedude on June 13, 2025 10:41 am
So far, nobody knows, because EVERYONE deflected and accused. I'm calling you both on your bullsht. Neither of you actually know what you're talking about.

  9. by Ponderer on June 13, 2025 10:55 am

And yet I do, od! I know exactly what I'm talking about:

I'm talking about the Trump administration acting with utter racist malice towards minority and women military service members by erasing their accomplishments from our history.

And to add insult to injury, they are taking away the names of minority and women military heroes and replacing them with the names of white soldiers whose names match the names of the confederate traitors to the United States that were on the bases originally.

Acting like you are too stupid to understand the conversation is the absolute lamest excuse for obfuscation you've got, od.

The problem is that you have no way to legitimately or logically counter what I am saying. I am correct, and you have no way of obfuscating that fact.

  10. by oldedude on June 13, 2025 3:37 pm
First, even with your "verbal abuse," I will agree with you regarding Gregg and Adams. For sure.

The name of the bases are steeped in history. Thusly, there aren't any bases listed for those medal of honor recipients from the Gulf War. I also don't agree with the first Bragg. He must have done wonderful in the Mexican- American war, and/or the Second Seminole War which he volunteered for when asked for recruits. He was most famous for the Mexican-American war in the Battle of Guadalupe, which is a more notable battle of the campaign. He was also from South Carolina, which is how all the military bases named prior to WWI+ were named.

Also, just to be clear, there's a Fort Sherman, known to be the cruelest commander in the civil war. His 300 swath through the south killed all livestock his army didn't need. All crops were burned the same. All black women were allowed to be raped by the skirmishers (both black and white), if a black soldier touched a white woman, he was shot on the spot or whipped to death. He got fired twice by Lincoln for his tactics until Lincoln had no choice but to allow Willie T Sherman to do what he did best. Rape, burn, pillage. In today's terms, that is equal 10/7 (that's right, you don't care about that) for 6 weeks. The reason he moved so quickly? Rape, burn, pillage. His army didn't have to be resupplied much.

You still haven't even looked at the number of bases that got their name changed. Gimmie a ballpark. 20? 50? 100? more?

  11. by Indy! on June 13, 2025 3:39 pm

More proof... OD did not deny he is a racist. Therefore, BY HIS OWN STANDARD HE SET ON THE BOARD HERE - he is without any doubt a racist... a racist Cop Killer.

  12. by Navy2711 on June 13, 2025 4:10 pm

Oh, shocker, OD is a confederate sympathizer. Who would have seen THAT coming?

The other day, I saw him say something about the "War of Northern Aggression," but I wasn't sure what context he meant it in. Now I know.

  13. by oldedude on June 13, 2025 4:41 pm
Are you sure you were in the Navy? You have to have a high school diploma, right? Because it's very apparent that you never possessed anything higher than indy's 3rd grade "deploma." How many times did it take you to get that?

  14. by oldedude on June 13, 2025 4:50 pm
CL- Hey la putito! You can LIE about me all you want. You're just proving that you have a problem with a complete lack of self-esteem and self-importance, which you put off when people can't get to you. You're the little girl that picks a fight and runs before someone actually takes you up on it. You're a little coward, that slurps up whatever you can under any of your daddies skirts. You can't deny it, you admitted to it! It's not even a play on words.

So od... no comment on the amazing coincidence of the bases being renamed to honor white soldiers whose last names are the same as the traitorous confederate officers that the bases were originally named for...? Kinda the main point of this thread...?

Does it not speak to you of president Crackerass McRacistfuq's shamelessly acting with utter racist malice towards minority and women military service members by erasing their accomplishments from our history?

po- olde dude... Please explain to us how it's merely a wild, unintentional coincidence that all the bases originally named after confederate traitors and American soldier killers are being renamed after white soldiers and officers who just by shear happenstance have the same last name as the confederate traitors that Trump wants to re-honor......
The BRAGG the base is now honoring a paratrooper from the 82nd ABN Division serving in WWII from D Day, Through the end of the war, and a "Silver Star" awardee (third highest medal in the US).

Does this match what Adams/Gregg did? Dunno. I do know and have already said he was a much better General than the former namesake Bragg was.

Adams was someone that until recently wasn't even known to the US. I understand there's an issue with that also. And it's not even a "base" it's a Garrison. MUCH smaller than a base.

Those are the facts in the case. I think (especially) General Gregg, needs a base, or something named after him. My suggestion would be to rename Fort Belvoir, Virginia, named after a plantation owner that was too cowardly to get into the war. This is one the pedojoe administration missed and is more an affront to me. This guy was never in the military, AND it was renamed after WWI! Which means it was historically easier to do, AND it's the US Army's Logistics Headquarters. This is MUCH more of an honor considering more people work at that base than the Pentagon. I think this should have been done within 5 years of his death in 1999. THAT would be honorable by any military standard.

So I'm not happy with most of this. My initial point was that princess couldn't even do the right research to understand that WWII was AFTER the civil war. So he's just f'ing stoopid. So my point is that I have no issue with Bragg. I do have many issues with Ft Lee/ Ft Belvoir and how that was handled.

  19. by Indy! on June 13, 2025 6:00 pm

The Cop Killer likes to project his failed attempts at "college" (read tech school) on others just like everything else. It's easy to tell from his lack of any sort of working knowledge of the English language that no college in the country would allow him admittance.

    Navy2711's Bitch,

"Actually, I have a HS Diploma, etc. ..."

I honestly think you're getting confused on who said what. No one made any mention of your high school diploma, and yet you're acting like you're refuting someone that questioned your credentials. I think you saw the words, "You have to have a high school diploma, right?" in my post, and thought that I was asking you if you have a high school diploma, when I was actually QUOTING you.

Maybe go back through and re-read the thread. It will probably make more sense, if you keep track of who is saying what.

Also, maybe acknowledge that you were wrong when you said that "you have to have a high school diploma" to get in the military.

    Navy2711's Bitch,

    1. What threat?

    2. Do you acknowledge that you were incorrect that a H.S. diploma is required to get into the military?

  24. by oldedude on June 14, 2025 1:19 pm
First, do realize that everything (minus "THIS THREAT FUKFACE AND MY BITCH") is what you said, right? So you ADMITTED you Sympathize with the confederacy. After calling me all sorts of names. YOU F'ING LIED BITCH!

OMFG, the "reg" says you can also have a GED. For those with a GED, less than 1% of those pass the ASFB. So you're talking about 0.001% of the forces have a GED. And it's getting smaller since it's an all-volunteer force. Judges can't give a choice of jail or military anymore. That's it. Also, it's so few that don't have a HS diploma, military stats are "assuming" a HS diploma. They start with that, then ask how much college you have just to get in. Welcome to the "new" military.

I'm "assuming" since you know this, you don't have a HS diploma either? So there you go. A complete loser all the way around. And a military hater. Just like your boyfriend. You hate to see other people "succeed." It makes you feel smaller than you already are.

Or did you get in during VN (if you actually did serve, otherwise, sealy will come to get you)? Because if you could walk, you got in. Or you were drafted (which isn't an issue) and didn't have to show even the non-existent GED you don't have.

  25. by Navy2711 on June 14, 2025 2:11 pm

    Navy2711's Bitch,

    1. Second time asking: What "threat" are you talking about? If you don't want to talk about it, just say so.

    2. "First, do realize that everything (minus "THIS THREAT FUKFACE AND MY BITCH") is what you said, right?"

That's not correct. YOU were the one who said:

    a. "You have to have a high school diploma"

    b. "Yes, I sympathize with slave owners, how could you not have seen that?"

    3. Glad we're in agreement that you were wrong, that you DON'T have to have a high school diploma to get in the military.

    4. Back in the day, if you scored well enough on the ASVAB, you could waive the diploma AND the G.E.D. requirement. You probably didn't know that.

    5. "Also, it's so few that don't have a HS diploma, military stats are "assuming" a HS diploma. They start with that, then ask how much college you have just to get in. Welcome to the "new" military."

Wrong. As a matter of fact, the Navy recently relaxed its diploma / G.E.D. requirement altogether. The Army did this recently as well. This happens from time to time when recruitment numbers are low. You really don't keep up with these things, do you?

  28. by oldedude on June 14, 2025 5:05 pm
Look, you're nothing but a troll. I would relook at that because the information is 18+ months old. So in just digging something up to disagree, you're wrong. The recruitment has skyrocketed since trumpster took over and DEI is done and sailors can get back to sailing and being the best at their jobs instead of lurking over their shoulder wondering who's going ruin their career by calling them the wrong pronoun.

Tier 1: Recruits with at least a high school diploma
Tier 2: Recruits with a GED
Tier 3: Recruits without a high school diploma or GED

    Based on this,
The Department of Defense requires at least 90% of all recruits overall to be from Tier 1.

Each branch of the military has their own requirements for the percentage of Tier 2 recruits they enlist each year.

    3. Most branches do not admit Tier 3 recruits unless under certain circumstances or they make special exceptions.

    Navy2711's Bitch,

No one's talking about 2025 standards. We're talking about what the standards were when I enlisted. So unless you think I enlisted this year, why the fuck are citing current standards?

    Scroll up to #13:

"Are you sure you were in the Navy? You have to have a high school diploma, right?"

My citing various standards over the years was to demonstrate to you that no, a high school diploma is not required. And that just completely derailed you, didn't it? You lost track of what the conversation was about. It's so tiresome trying to talk to you. PLEASE get back on your meds.

No one's talking about 2025 standards. We're talking about what the standards were when I enlisted. So unless you think I enlisted this year, why the fuck are citing current standards?
Because you cited a 2024 POS rag. Which was "before" you "enlisted?" Right? YOU said you left the navy (as a semen apprentice no doubt) 30+ years ago. I have to "assume" that's a change from the prior directive from 2024 was valid when you "enlisted." Is it really that hard? This is common logic.

Initially, I stated that you couldn't sign on the line without a GED, which I proved (remember your tenses in elementary school?) because I used PRESENT tense. You said you "could" get in without a GED or HS Diploma. There were only a couple of times you could actually do that post VietNam. I'm also assuming you don't have either since you're just fighting me for no fucking reason.

    Navy2711's Bitch,

Let me walk you through this one more time.

    You said this:

"Are you sure you were in the Navy? You have to have a high school diploma, right?"

Clearly, you're referring to the requirements that were in place when I enlisted. But you don't KNOW when I enlisted. So I showed you that the requirements have changed throughout the years. I'm also telling you that if the circumstances are right, that waivers are always an option.

So, for fuck's sake, read carefully this time:

Your assertion that a high school diploma is required to get in the military is WRONG.

    Period.

  33. by oldedude on June 17, 2025 8:11 pm
Your assertion that a high school diploma is required to get in the military is WRONG.

That's present tense. I already covered that. You won't tell me shit about when you were in and where you served. Therefore, you're a poser, and "sealee" will come some night when you feel nice and warm with your "pillow" and you realize you're a total poser, and you're going to piss your pants, and puke all over yourself when you actually realize what is going to happen to you as you shit yourself. As Willis would say. "Yippie yi yea motherfucker!" and you sink. Oops.

So. Unless you will ever come forward, you're still semenfuckingposer on this site.

    Stop taking the goddamn bait.

Trump doesn't want you talking about the economy or tariffs or inflation. These issues are what real people, real voters care about. They do not care about the names of army bases, or all the other stupid crap you clutch your pearls over.

So to distract everyone, Trump makes some stupid announcement to distract everyone from what really matters.

And you take the bait. Every. Goddamn. Time. "Oh, can you believe what Trump just did?!?"

    Robert,

I honestly don't know what you're getting at. Let's say that you're correct and we're taking the bait and being distracted? What's the downside of that? What would we be doing if we weren't distracted? Talking about the three topics — economy, tariffs, inflation — that you deem suitable? And THEN what would happen? What would be a upside? Would my representatives suddenly start focusing on those issues? Are they monitoring Selectsmart.com? I promise I'm not being playing dumb, I really don't understand what you think is the downside to us discussing these various issues, or what you think we would gain by focusing exclusively on the economy.

Personally, I think that white supremacy IS an issue worthy of discussion. And if "real voters" don't care about the degradation of our democracy — which is not on your list — then there's no point in talking about ANYTHING, we can just sit back and watch our country turn into a dictatorship. But hey, maybe a balanced budget will magically fix those things too?

    Navy2711's Bitch,

    "That's present tense."

You were referring to when I enlisted, which you know was some time ago. People got in without high school diplomas back then. They have gotten in without high school diplomas since then. And they get in without high school diplomas now.

People have ALWAYS gotten into the military without high school diplomas.

Every single year in modern times, people have gotten into the military without a high school diploma.
    .
    .
    .

You were wrong. So stop jibber-jabbering. Just admit you were wrong.
