Attorney General Pam Bondi said the Trump administration planned to take a hard line against demonstrators.

“You spit on a federal law enforcement officer no more,” she said. “As President Trump said, you spit. we hit. Get ready. If you spit on a federal law enforcement officer, we are going to charge you with a crime federally. You are looking at up to five years maximum in prison.”

The Trump administration’s decisive treatment of demonstrators — and the president’s focus on punishing those who assault police officers — stands in contrast to his sweeping pardons for roughly 1,500 people who stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, seeking to overturn the election.

    The hypocrisy is stunning.

  2. by Navy2711 on June 11, 2025 1:48 pm

I propose that we use this to establish a standard candle for measuring projectile vomiting. One "Trump" is equal to the velocity of the stream caused by watching Trump act like he's protective of law enforcement, after he pardoned the J6ers. Of course, this is too large a number for every day applications. Typical acts of hypocrisy that you and I might commit would be measured in "milli-Trumps".

  3. by Navy2711 on June 11, 2025 1:50 pm

    Donna,

Stunning is not an overstatement. I keep thinking "This. THIS is the thing that Trump supporters CAN'T overlook." But they can. He does it right in all of our fucking faces, and they don't care.

  4. by HatetheSwamp on June 11, 2025 2:07 pm

AGAIN! Pardoning the J6 rioters was a campaign promise Trump made at every rally I saw.

While, "that feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap" promised repeatedly that he wouldn't pardon his family members.

Trump's doing what he said he'd do. G'head. Complain. But, you're spitting into the wind.

  5. by Indy! on June 11, 2025 3:37 pm

So if Trump promised to shoot an elderly woman crossing 5th avenue while he was on the campaign trail and then he did it... you would be fine with it.

Got it - now it all makes sense. You MAGAts are just fucking assholes of the highest order.

  6. by oldedude on June 11, 2025 3:42 pm
Lead- you and I have the ability to have a different opinion without hating people. They're called "spiritual vampires," or "energy vampires." I'm choosing not to engage near as much as I once die.

Although... "indy" has still not given me a citation on the J6 protesters killing any of the White House detail, or any other LEA on J6.

AND I will say, that several of those morons have re-offended🙄. Seriously, I'd climb in a hole until everyone forgot about me.

  7. by HatetheSwamp on June 11, 2025 3:46 pm

The only person who died on J6 was an unarmed protester.

  8. by Curt_Anderson on June 11, 2025 4:05 pm
    MAGA hypocrisy...

Bondi says LA protests 'very different' than Jan. 6 rioters who were pardoned
Attorney General Pam Bondi rejected that President Donald Trump's pardons for hundreds of rioters who assaulted police during the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol creates a double standard with the administration's aggressive response to violence at immigration protests in Los Angeles.

"Well, this is very different," Bondi said Wednesday in an on-camera gaggle with reporters at the White House. "These are people out there hurting people in California right now. This is ongoing."

This is how you weasels think you're getting around your cop killing ways...

The only person who died on J6 was an unarmed protester.

The cops died BECAUSE of J6. Think of it this way (if you can) - a bank robber shoots a security guard while committing his crime, but the guard doesn't die until the next day. Is the bank robber still charged with murder? Yes.

Same idea on J6. The info has been sourced, you know it's true - that's why BOTH of you weasel around with the words because you know like everybody else that Trump - your orange hero - let cop killers back onto the streets of America and YOU SUPPORTED IT. You still do.

And it's not surprising in the least that neither one of you have the BALLS to admit it because both of you are beta male baby men with no honor, morality or intestinal fortitude. "Military honor"... please. Bunch of pussies on welfare.

  10. by Curt_Anderson on June 11, 2025 4:21 pm
That no cops were killed on January 6th wasn't for a lack of trying.

Five people died within 36 hours after the January 6th U.S. Capitol attack. These deaths included: Ashli Babbitt as she ignored police warnings and attempted to crawl through a broken Capitol window; a Capitol Police officer, Brian Sicknick, who died from a stroke a day after being assaulted; and three other individuals who died of natural causes, including a drug overdose. Additionally, some rioters were injured, with 174 police officers being injured, including 15 who were hospitalized according to Wikipedia.

    Hate,

"Pardoning the J6 rioters was a campaign promise Trump made at every rally I saw."

Your "he promised therefore it's okay" logic is just ... *chef's kiss" ... MUAH! I guess if he promised to kick you in the nuts you'd lay out the red carpet and spread your legs. Tell you what, though. Next time you're criticizing Biden, if it turns out that it was something he promised during his campaign, we'll see how BLINDINGLY fast you change your tune. You'll flip-flop so hard that it will cause a seismic shift. FEMA's last act will be to declare your expediency a natural disaster.

    OD,

"I'm choosing not to engage ..."

You're "choosing" not to engage because you're getting your ass handed to you and you're not man enough to handle it. We've all seen tough-talkers like you before. You're always the same. You put on a good show and then run at the slightest hint of pushback.

It was always the "tough guy" in sports who took his ball and went home crying the first time somebody laid the wood on them in a football game or slam dunked on them in basketball. The whole "badass" thing is nothing more than more Fox fairy tale spinning. Does anyone believe that orange marshmallow occupying the Oval Office is a tough guy? Please.

Five people died within 36 hours after the January 6th U.S. Capitol attack.
Then you're as stoopid as indy, at least indy will always run from this fight because he knows he wrong. You're wrong and you won't admit it.

Minus Babbett, I guess, but she was shot. I looked at every tape I could and honestly found it to be a good shoot under the law. It WAS too bad, my guess is that his hand was too tight on the grip and he had his finger on the trigger. In the split seconds that it happened, the adrenalin kicked in. So legally. it's a good shoot. I'm sorry for the family, but...

TELL ME, WHAT DID THE PROTESTORS HAVE TO DO WITH ANY OF THE OTHER DEATHS. The fact they died within 36 hours. Immaterial. That's a fact, unless the protesters shot or injured one of the cops and they died from the wounds. So. Prove it to me you little bitch. Both of you.

  14. by Curt_Anderson on June 11, 2025 5:25 pm
    OD,
I merely cited what was reported in Wikipedia. You can head to that page, and voice your objections.

Five people died within 36 hours after the January 6th U.S. Capitol attack is accepted as a fact by most reasonable people. Officer Brian Sicknick, died from a stroke a day after being assaulted.

Assault, particularly those involving physical violence or blunt force trauma to the head, can increase the risk of stroke. Assaults can lead to traumatic brain injuries (TBIs), which can cause damage to blood vessels in the brain or disrupt blood clotting, both of which can contribute to stroke.

It strains credulity to say it was just a coincidence that Sicknick died on January 7th and the 6th had nothing to do with it.

The other four dead were J6 protestors, including Babbitt. She died the same way many burglars have meet their demise, trying to break through a window.

  15. by oldedude on June 11, 2025 5:42 pm
I realize that. I agree they died shortly after J6. No issue. The issue is that NONE of them died as a direct result of the protesters.

Sitnick has an expectation of health. Sorry, but every sworn officer PT requirement, AND annual checkups. HIS and the agency's issue. And none of those things you "cited" were taken by the court, so they are hearsay at best. TPS speculation at worst. To use your ploy. No one was charged. And they have over a thousand hours of video of the whole thing. AND they excessively charged the folks, which is the legal reason for the "pardon." (I've stated my views on that). So if there was ANY chance of convicting someone of even a Manslaughter charge would have happened.

My guess is that he actually "exerted" himself. If you're overweight (obese in his case) and all of a sudden have your adrenalin skyrocket, THAT is a reason for a stroke or AF.

So you "explained" one death, I've given you a Mulligan on Babbit, and agree it was a good shoot. I don't think there was anything "fishy" about that trial/ investigation.

There are three more no one will explain.

Rosanne Boyland, 34, died of an amphetamine overdose during the attack, rather than, as was initially reported, from injuries sustained from being crushed beneath other rioters.

When the crowd of rioters moved from on top of her, she was found dead. Her death was ruled as accidental by the D.C. medical examiner's office. Her mother, Cheryl Boyland, told NBC News: "She was not doing drugs. The only thing they found was her own prescription medicine".

Kevin Greeson, 55; and Benjamin Philips, 50, died naturally from coronary heart disease and hypertensive heart disease, respectively. There was no indication that they participated in the riot.

Based on the available information, there is no indication that Brian Sicknick was obese. His death was ruled a natural one due to two strokes, caused by a blood clot in an artery leading to his brain.

The medical examiner found no evidence of external or internal injuries, nor an allergic reaction, though they did state that "all that transpired played a role in his condition," referring to the events of January 6th.

So the final verdict is, "no one can be directly tied to any J6 protester" To the deaths of any of the officers on scene or not. No "negligent manslaughter" charge? Is that correct?

Defense rests and asks for pardons from all this bullshit. princess included.

His death was ruled a natural one due to two strokes, caused by a blood clot in an artery leading to his brain.

fauxsquid- Next time you're criticizing Biden, if it turns out that it was something he promised during his campaign, we'll see how BLINDINGLY fast you change your tune.
First, unlike you, I have criticized trumpster, and supported pedojoe. Criticizing trumpster much more often than supporting pedojoe. I look at things the same either way. I don't have the equivalency of TPS that you do with your hatred of ONLY trumpster. So before you talk out of your arse, you should maybe get your fact straight.

Apparently, you didn't chase enough children off of the lawn at the "rest home" DHS put you in because your "kids" refused to support your craziness. And the cops wanted you in a "secure facility."

"So the final verdict is, "no one can be directly tied to any J6 protester" To the deaths of any of the officers on scene or not." --OD

It is more like that the final verdict is, no one J6 protester can be directly tied to any of the deaths of any of the officers. Indirectly the violence of the J6 rioters led to Sicknick's death.

  19. by oldedude on June 11, 2025 7:31 pm
Either way, you don't have any case at all. AND if it were, they could make it a conspiracy charge. Which they didn't. Again. You have more TPS than the courts in this case. DOJ and the courts were looking for ANYTHING to charge. That's why a simple trespass which usually carries a "warning" was now worth 2 years of jail time on a misdemeanor. That's really strange to any legal analyst outside that court.

At least 1,276 of 1,358 defendants charged in connection with Jan. 6—about 94 percent—have faced some version of the following misdemeanor charge: knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted grounds or building under 18 U.S.C. § 1752.

As of 03/01/2024. A federal appeals court panel ruled Friday that Jan. 6 defendants who obstructed Congress’ work had their sentences improperly lengthened by judges who determined that they had interfered with the “administration of justice.”

The decision could force district court judges in Washington, D.C. to recalculate, and perhaps reduce, the sentences of more than 100 Jan. 6 rioters convicted of felony obstruction for their roles in the attack on the Capitol that threatened the transfer of power three years ago.

*note; No appeal was made after this to have SCOTUS review the decision. This means the state didn't waste their money on going further with the decision. i.e. The state got caught, and it's not worth changing it.

But that wasn't all they were charged with.

Of the total 1,583 arrested, according to the department’s figures, 608—or 38 percent—were charged with either assaulting or impeding federal police officers. Of those that assaulted officers, 174 were charged with an enhanced version of the crime for using deadly or dangerous weapons or for inflicting bodily harm on the officer.

    Additionally...

At least 1,583 have been arrested and 1,270 of those individuals—80 percent—have already been convicted. Of the 1,270 convicted, 1,009 pleaded guilty—64 percent of all arrested, and 79 percent of all convictions. Another 221 were found guilty at trial by juries or judges, and the remaining 40 were convicted after a hybrid procedure known as a “stipulated trial,” at which the defendant made factual concessions without admitting to their legal significance.

And, they weren't talking about the totality of the charges, because each charge is sentenced separately.

OD still relentlessly defending cop killers which - BY HIS OWN STANDARD HE, HIMSELF ESTABLISHED ON THIS BOARD - makes him a cop killer too. So from now on - OD's new nick is "Cop Killer".

Oh - and Cop Killer? The reason I don't argue this non-stop with you is because we both know you defended cop killers, wse provided the proof and you will never accept it because your master is the orange ass monkey and he can do no wrong in your eyes. I have better things to do with my time.

  25. by Donna on June 12, 2025 10:06 am

So do I, Indy, which is why I won't be wasting any more of my time arguing with Cop Killer.

OD still relentlessly defending cop killers which - BY HIS OWN STANDARD HE, HIMSELF ESTABLISHED ON THIS BOARD - makes him a cop killer too. So from now on - OD's new nick is "Cop Killer".

MY evidence is not based in "what I think" or "I hate OD because I have to make myself feel better about me" bullshit. This is what the courts said. Period. End of story. So you can stroke your egos all you want. I really don't care. If that's what it takes for you to live with yourself.

What are ALSO facts. donna defended po burning down a police precent. That is a FACT. She also finally relented into being shamed into saying that "what Hamas did.... was.....maybe... not the "best" idea......

princess is different. it has continually hated cops from day one. And the military and everything connecting the two. Including me. it's passive-aggressive posts should tell anyone with a brain that it's only to strokes its ego and cannot produce ANY evidence he was even "Unsettled" about 10/7 (after being hounded from a week after 10/7 until now).

so whore and cumslut (princess) I think is just as applicable.

  27. by oldedude on June 12, 2025 10:22 am
Also, if you noticed, I didn't side with the "insurrectionists" like you do.

  28. by Indy! on June 12, 2025 10:27 am

You can source the part about me siding with insurrectionists right after you find a source for me supporting Hamas. So far as hating cops? My dad was a cop you fraking dumba55.

  29. by oldedude on June 12, 2025 10:38 am
You said I've been COMPLETELY wrong about J6. I haven't. And if you actually knew anything about police departments, you would know I was right about what I said. Which the courts agreed with. I'm really fucking sorry you don't like facts. I'll give you a mulligan on that one.

NOW cough up your supporting the Jews in 10/7.
