For the second time in less than two weeks, Jews have been targeted. The left will always tell you their call for genocide of the Jews globally "isn't meant to be 'violent.'" That, obviously, is bullshit as the Jew hatred has crept out of the large cities and pockets of Jews that have been in the US for decades. Boulder is mostly known for buying dope. There's not much else there except for CU. Boulder County is a libtard's paradise where you have a "perfect" first amendment right, unless you're a conservative.

So this asshole is an "overstay" illegal immigrant from turkey (home of the Muslim Brotherhood). In addition to just being an asshole, he screamed "free Palestine" while he tried to burn people to death with a homemade flame thrower.[1] For those not familiar with this, it's been a method of death for the worst offenders, and rates much higher (read more brutal) than hanging, drowning, being shot, crucified, beheaded, or garroted. The victims in this case will be dealing with disfiguring injuries and extreme pain for months or years depending on the injuries.[2]

So think of this. The left gave him permission (if trumpster is guilty, so is the left) that supports "from the river to the sea," and the intifada. Both of those are calls for genocide. And since there have been few on this site that have actually (with any feeling) condemned the 10/7 attacks (Lead and me being the exceptions) they are also to blame.

The FBI has identified the suspect as 45-year-old Mohamed Sabry Soliman, an Egyptian national who is in the United States illegally after overstaying his visa.

OD, so you say, "Boulder County is a libtard's paradise where you have a 'perfect' first amendment right, unless you're a conservative". The suspect was arrested after he "expressed" his opinion. Is Soliman a liberal or conservative?

He's murdering Jews, so my bet is that he's a Radical Islamist. I'm not sure where you put that, because they believe in honor killings and take the Qur'an extremely conservatively. And they also believe that all Jews, the US and the rest of the western nations must be destroyed, and everyone not Muslim is murdered according to al Quo'ran adamantly supporting genocide. Especially those that are affront to Allah. That includes specifically the LGBTQ+ community and all those who practice pantheistic God's (Buddhists, wiccan, etc). Although Jews and Christians don't have to be murdered in al Quo'ran, in radical Islamic terms, they are considered enemies of Allah. So western liberals are steadfastly holding to their beliefs of death to Israel, genocide, and the intifada, which is more than a little strange to me as this is predominately where the pantheists, and LGBTQ+ community is.

I know this answer isn't real clear, but as conservative as they are, they are far more supported by the liberal westerners in supporting genocide, "From the river to the sea," etc.

What the left doesn't understand is that Jihadist Islam is not your garden variety Sands, Che, or Castro "revolutionism." The folks in Latin America and Ireland were fighting specifically against "a government" and foreign ownership of their country and is extremely secular. Jihadism is a revolution based on theistic and an eternal struggle of good and evil. According to Jihadism, the war doesn't end until the world has one religion, Islam under Sharya (Qur'anic) law. So to say it's genocidal is an understatement. So much like the Irish, it's generational war, but on a much larger scale.

I am withdrawing from discussing this subject.

When we're at the point that merely acknowledging the basic humanity of two million Palestinian people and their basic human rights to exist and not be slaughtered and/or starved to death en masse is responded to by flaming bigots' accusations of antisemitism, there's no point in discussing it any further with such people.

It's difficult to discuss human rights when the person you are arguing with doesn't believe in them for all humans.

  7. by oldedude on June 2, 2025 8:04 am
The difference between us is that you include jihadists. If you notice, I have purposefully left the civilians out of this. I am extremely clear about the terms I use and what they mean. It's you that are including the Palestinian victims of Hamas with the terrorist organization. I was the first one to jump on the cart when Palestinians demonstrated against Hamas. I was impressed and really happy about that. I took a lot of stones to do that, and they risked their lives doing so.

So if you want to keep this up, that's fine. I just pity you that you can't tell the difference.

    OD,
You were the first to post about protests by Gazans. I was the first to comment and agree with you and applaud the protests. See link. There are varying opinions in the comments. I am probably closer to OD than others here.

Last night on PBS I watched a Rick Steves show about WWII fascism. Steves discussed as the war was winding down after D-Day we were bombing towns like Hanover and Frankfurt with the intent of demoralizing the German people and breaking the spell that Hitler apparently had over them. Needless to say the Allied bombs did not make a distinction between Nazis and German civilians.

Could we and should we have only targeted German soldiers and Nazi party members, and spared all the "innocent" civilians? Could Israel and should Israel only target only Hamas party members?

On the bombings in WWII. There were two main countries that did the bombings. The US and GB. Two radically different approaches to the bombing. GB did night bombings, which produce a much higher civilian death toll and more safety for the crews. The US adopted day bombing, which produced a much higher attrition of the aircraft and the crews. The upside was the ability to target "a factory," or "the railyards" in a city. Admittedly, folks in these factories were either free Germans, or "work camp prisoners." These are "military targets" because they were making tools for the war effort. The carpet bombings were at the later stages of the war, and like curt said, it was used to demoralize the Germans.

Honestly, we lost a lot of folks in D Day, the push off the beaches and into Europe proper, and then the fight into Germany which included Bastogne, and France. I will say the "western front" even with the extreme casualties, was much more "civil" than the eastern front. The Russians and Germans hated each other. There were crucifixions of enemy prisoners of war on both sides. The Russian female units were known to take days to kill their prisoners.

Germany, in both the advance into Russia, and the retreat held a massive amount of atrocities. Villages were wiped off the map, and their civilians were shot into mass graves in Romania, Czechoslovakia, Poland, Ukraine, etc.

I don't believe it is possible to not kill civilians as collateral damage. Especially when a "military" mixes civilians and military together to hide behind the civilians and use that as a propaganda. That is a huge piece with all the Jihadists groups. Then you also don't have a uniform, etcetcetc... So they're not a "regular army" which they hide behind a lot. When they commit atrocities, they claim they're not part of the "law of land warfare" then hide behind it in how they are treated as captives. This was a major stumbling block with Gitmo. Americans actually fell for the lie they were prisoners of war (which hold standing in how they must be treated) and yet they didn't fulfill the requirements as being part of an army.

  14. by oldedude on June 2, 2025 5:35 pm
Oh. They added 2 people that asshole tried to burn to death. I'm actually hoping the victims can pick his style of death, and they put him on the stake. Or in a cage like the Jordanian Pilot ISIS burned to death.

Eight federal charges of attempted murder at this point. Plus there's some assault of a law enforcement officer, attempted murder with an illegal weapon, and some others I'm sure. It's hard to defend this when eight people will spend the next few years in solid pain, and maybe the rest of their lives. And they were involved in a peaceful demonstration this asshole chose to attack. Kind of brings home the campus issues and the 160% uptick in attack on Jews and how serious this is. I am glad for the hate crimes statutes. I know the libs here don't give a shit about the Jews but imagine if the victims were part of the LGBTQ+ community. People on this site would DEMAND the death penalty! But. No. They're just old Jews. Nobody gives a shit. Just like 10/7.

"Could Israel and should Israel only target only Hamas party members?" - Curt

Well, no. Obviously what they should do is slaughter 60,000 people, 80% of whom are women, children, elderly, sick, and otherwise non-combatant.

Secondly, unlike most other prejudices, antisemitism is ubiquitous, coming from all ends of the political spectrum. It is not a hatred that is limited to one particular place, orientation, or political outlook. It can emanate from anyone and anywhere: those on the right, those on the left, those in the middle and from Christians, Muslims, atheists, and, of course, Jews. More about that later.

Thirdly, unlike other prejudices, antisemitism is a conspiracy myth. Secondly, unlike most other prejudices, antisemitism is ubiquitous, coming from all ends of the political spectrum. It should be noted that it was preponderantly a right wing thing in the past. It is evenly divided now as many young people confuse the behaviour of Israel with that of the majority of Jews.

You can argue with the last if you are a glutton for punishment. It is my (Quiet aside) opinion.

olde dude. Actually defending and excusing the flagrant, genocidal hell being unleashed on the helpless, innocent Palestinian people of Gaza by the government and military of Netanyahu.

And also conceding, by his use of obfuscation with this voluminous smokescreen, that he's a God damned liar as I accused him of being in the preceding post.

  22. by Indy! on June 3, 2025 9:24 am

He still hasn't come up with a single quote or source of mine where I supported Hamas.

  23. by oldedude on June 3, 2025 10:09 am
po- What I said was that I don't believe it's possible NOT to have collateral damage. What you fucking make up about it is as bad as princess refusing to princess-up and admitting that it's NEVER supported the Jews. And always refused to criticize the atrocities of 10/7.

I do NOT believe in ANY willful collateral damage. Almost my entire post was about that. Why the US did daylight bombing to a horrific cost to our flyers. I've lost family because of that but still support what the US did and not what the british did.

I don't like willful damage to the Palestinians. By anyone. Either Hamas who uses them, or the Israelis. I've made that really fucking clear also. You didn't give a flying fuck about the Palestinian protests. Curt and I found that wonderful. I wonder how many houses were broken into and people murder by your buddies in Hamas (since you can't seem to tell the fucking difference between the two).

Instead of looking for things to invent and fight about, just STFU.

  24. by Indy! on June 3, 2025 11:21 am

Did you just post something about me again, OD? I thought you were going to at least try to pretend I was irrelevant.

  25. by oldedude on June 3, 2025 11:26 am
So you can't answer me. Got it.

  26. by oldedude on June 3, 2025 11:41 am
wrongagain- We did. You lost. You're a racist. End of conversation.

I have tried to get you and princess to admit there were atrocities committed on 10/7. There are at least three on this site that have sent "one liners" of "I guess if you make me, I'll say it" answers. You and princess have NEVER acknowledged the atrocities on that day. That is two-faced. Even the Palestinians thought it was too much for a terrorist group to do, much less a government to do even the Jews. You (and princess) don't. You both have given reasons, justifications, and excuses for it.

  27. by meagain on June 3, 2025 12:14 pm
Grow up, OD. Do you miss the Army and having every decision made for you and no responsibilities other than to keep your boots polished? Your schtick about the atrocities has grown very old. You can't get away with using it to divert from anything that has you against the wall. I gave you the answer to the antisemitism questions in the USA. That was the topic. It destroys your smear of the left wing.

  28. by meagain on June 3, 2025 12:22 pm
Interesting about the night bombings, Pondy. However, there was a large element of revenge in British carpet bombing. Revenge for the toll and damage done by the German night bombing in the Blitz. earlier.

Very few people seem to know that the Germans did that with impunity and deliberately targeted civilians. In 1940, Germany developed the technical ability to fly to positions in the dark. Britain did not get that until long after. So, the Luftwaffe had no fear of British fighter opposition impeding their murderous operations. Dresden was retaliation for Coventry.

  29. by Indy! on June 3, 2025 12:56 pm

I see. So you mean I've never addressed whatever it was that happened on 10/7 much in the same way you never addressed the fact Trump released cop killers from the J6 insurrection.

  30. by oldedude on June 3, 2025 3:19 pm
I did talk about it. I didn't approve of it. AND after pedojoe pre-emptively pardoned his whole family, I figured it was politics as usual.

  31. by oldedude on June 3, 2025 3:30 pm
Good lord this is the lowest of the ignorant low when it comes to responses from both OD and Curt. You both would have been cheering on Hitler and the gas chambers instead of the resistance in Europe.

Obviously you didn't actually "read" post #9. It stated that curt and I were the first ones to be ecstatic and supportive of the Palestinians rejecting Hamas as their government. You didn't say shit because you don't know the difference between them. They're just little brown people that live in caves and are all great people. Except their government isn't a "sponsor" of terrorism, they are terrorists per se. Just one of them to rise up against them has more core values and integrity that you've ever had in your life. But that's a hell of a low bar (meaning you are in the minus column on both).

  32. by Indy! on June 3, 2025 8:29 pm

So let me see if I have this straight... you believe all the Palestinians "live in caves"?

    Yeah... military "expert". 😂
