Libertarian-ish pb applauds, but this is a close one.
Understanding that public education is failing US children and youth, I'm inclined to be enthusiastic about any form of private education.
Still, the first liberty included in the Bill of Rights, to use the language of (slave owner and slave raper) Thomas Jefferson, creates a "wall of separation between church and state."
Ole pb doesn't think that this is a Christian Nation nor does he want it to become one.
BTW, the vote was 4-4. One of pb's heroes, Amy Coney Barrett did the ethical thing and recused herself because of her past association with Notre Dame law school.
