You probably know that I monitor right-wing media on a regular basis.
I caught Clay and Buck's initial reaction. Buck's a Catholic. To say that they exploded is going too far but, they are unsettled.
They ended the show taking calls from Catholic listeners. There was a lot of pride that the Pope is American born. And, concern that he might be too focused the things of this world and spiritual issues.
When important news breaks, I try to catch the opening monolog on that gay Guy Curt never heard of's show, i.e., Guy Benson. Benson purports to be a Christian. He was not going bonkers.
pb's not into institutionalized Christianity but he appreciated Pope Francis and his focus on the Sermon on the Mount. He hopes that Leo XIV will walk that path.
