Dems still haven't moved beyond Walter Cronkite and Huntley and Brinkley.
Dems held the House of Representatives for 40 straight years, from 1954 to 1994, sometimes with huge majorities, once as large as 295-140.
Until Rush Limbaugh and talk radio.
Limbaugh launched a national show in the late 80s and, after bubba Clinton assumed the White House in the 92 election, Limbaugh, and other conservative talkers, redefined the meaning of "loyal opposition." Two tears later, the GOPs stole 54 seats from the Dems, won their first major in 40 years. And, life in the Swamp has never been the same.
Dems never figured out the 80s-90s New Media. And, with all the diminishing clout of network nightly news plus Curt's Holy Trinity and, more recently, po's metaphorical and Literal Rachel, progressive and woke Swampcultists still lose the media battle to win the hearts of working class voters... hence two terms of, Donald Trump, the most pathetic candidate to win the presidency.

Megyn Kelly to Launch New Podcast Network: The former Fox News anchor has found success with her own video podcast
“I’m thrilled to launch MK Media and to use our platform to help sane, reasonable, good-humored people build their own followings in this new media space,” Kelly told THR.
MK Media will make its debut in April with a trio new shows from three hosts who are relatively new to the podcast space. ABC News political director and MSNBC political analyst Mark Halperin will emcee Next Up, while Daily Mail culture columnist Maureen Callahan hosts The Nerve, and influencer Link Lauren oversees Spot On.
Kelly was early to the Newser-to-podcaster boom, launching The Megyn Kelly Show in 2020 via her independent production company Devil May Care Media. That move followed her Fox News tenure, which lasted from 2004 to 2017. In 2016, Kelly joined other female FNC employees—including Gretchen Carlson and Shelley Ross—in publicly accusing former network CEO Roger Aisles of sexual harassment.
Mark Halperin is sharp as a tack!
There are many reasons that the GOPs have the slimmest chance not to be blown out in 026. One is that the progressive Swampcult is still living in the 1960s media world.
