I know how a legal name change works. I've gone all through it myself. But all of what you mention does not change one's birth certificate. That is a whole separate kettle of fish. Many married women never bothered to go through all the legal hoo-hah. Tens of millions I would wager.
I don't know one that hasn't. My question is: why did you? What were the reasons you kept up on your ID, and think "Tens of millions" wouldn't? Are they too stupid to get a free ID? Again, you can't get a bank account, or use any "monetary device." like an apartment, get a house, a car, collect welfare, Medicaid, Medicare, have insurance, get a job, etcetcetc. So "Tens of millions" (of voting age women) is just a stupid idea.
That's a complete straw man (meaning stupid) argument. It actually has no relevancy, because in most countries you can't change a "birth certificate" per se. And there has to be references to it in the county/state computers.
Regardless of the state, name changes, if they're actually legal, have to be registered. End of conversation. You should have told me what you thought a long time ago. I wouldn't have wasted my time on that inane "argument."
You're still thinking the Mexicans are like the 1960's westerns. It's not. They actually have better control of their voting than the US. And the rest of central and south America. They're all just a bunch of tribes like the Tarzan movies (starring Gordon Griffith), right? So basically Mexicans are just stupid peons without electricity. That's really racist.

Gender science does not trump biology" It is biology. My daughter-in-law is a biologist: a Stanford MA. She thinks that the pushback of right-wing interests is just foolish ignorance and anti-sceince. That is even more complicated than what is in the public debate.

Biology is the equivalent of astronomy. Gender Science is astrology.
