An interesting possibility has been suggested by some legal minds. It is that his sanctioning of the Court amounts to an attempt to intimidate the Court and that is an extremely serious offence. He can be charged with it, and, if convicted, 125 countries will be obliged to arrest him and extradite him for trial if he appears within their borders. It does not matter that the USA does not recognise the Court.
He will then join Putin in being almost unable to leave his country.
