Notice that Google AdSense labeled the offending thread which has the URL ending in 5588 as "Dangerous or derogatory content". The bottom line is that AdSense warnings come with the threat that they will cut off their advertising thus my revenue. The warning says it was reported on Dec. 6th. I don't know if that means an offended person reported it, or if AI "reports" it.

It's not worth my arguing that the post wasn't dangerous or derogatory, especially since I hadn't really read it. "Communicating" with Google means I would be talking to AI.

I had a similar warning about a Ponderer post with obscenities in the headline, which I was obliged to delete.

If you are interested in the topic, search for "Google AdSense Policy Violation".

    Interesting.

Further proof that po is an EFFINscourge.

I find that interesting because it was the headline in the media. Again, you're going to argue with AI, so there's that. No big deal though, the two that I'm concerned about were pretty much duplicates of quotes from indy. So if that's an issue, I don't see how it's dangerous or derogatory and blame me for them. AND it was an answer to a direct question (dare really) from indy.

    OD,
I don't know if the problem was with your headline, in your opening article or in a comment.

  4. by oldedude on December 7, 2024 1:09 pm
Again, you had a good point about arguing with AI, nobody's going to win that.

The other stuff is a problem for me. And if you "weren't told" about it, I'm not sure what could happen without human interaction.

  5. by Indy! on December 7, 2024 1:12 pm

LOL! You got nothing, OD. If you had it - you'd find a way to post it.

    YOU.

    GOT.

    NOTHING.

    And everyone knows it.

    OD,
I was "told" about it, in the form of an email entitled "Your AdSense Publisher Policy Violation..." with a link to the page which I partially copied above to illustrate this topic. I suspect that there is minimal human activity, if any, involved in issuing their warning.

    The email concluded with:
    Kind regards,
    Google Publisher Policy

It's bullshit - just a different way to censor speech on the internet. The question we'll be asking more and more as time wears on....

Who put the robots in charge?

    1. I saw the first one posted.

Here's a possibility and I'll put it to bed. The post might have been in that thread. It was saying this whole issue on three different threads. It's hard to follow princess because you never get all the cylinders firing in the right order. I'm open enough to that, I'll let your end drop. Mea Culpa.

Just call me when you have that "lie" of mine posted and ready for viewing by the public. In the meantime the only liar in this thread is the one spinning fables about "disappearing posts"... 😂
