Vetting, which the Orange Turd doesn't believe in, is important, no?

A whistle-blower report and other documents suggest that Trump’s nominee to run the Pentagon was forced out of previous leadership positions for financial mismanagement, sexist behavior, and being repeatedly intoxicated on the job.

After the recent revelation that Pete Hegseth had secretly paid a financial settlement to a woman who had accused him of raping her in 2017, President-elect Donald Trump stood by his choice of Hegseth to become the next Secretary of Defense. Trump’s communications director, Steven Cheung, issued a statement noting that Hegseth, who has denied wrongdoing, has not been charged with any crime. “President Trump is nominating high-caliber and extremely qualified candidates to serve in his administration,” Cheung maintained.

But Hegseth’s record before becoming a full-time Fox News TV host, in 2017, raises additional questions about his suitability to run the world’s largest and most lethal military force. A trail of documents, corroborated by the accounts of former colleagues, indicates that Hegseth was forced to step down by both of the two nonprofit advocacy groups that he ran—Veterans for Freedom and Concerned Veterans for America—in the face of serious allegations of financial mismanagement, sexual impropriety, and personal misconduct.

The Orange Turd sure knows how to pick 'em

The folks at The New Yorker apparently felt this expose is so important that they made it accessible to everyone free of charge. Link below.

Hegseth is a mess. Juicy stuff.

You see any "charity" that includes the words "veterans", "warriors" or "soldiers" - do not donate because they are 99% sure to be a scam. If veterans need help - the gov't should pay for it.

Great article - thanks Donna! 😃

This guy is such a dirt bag, his OWN MOTHER is telling him he a shitstain on the country...

...Then, in August, 2017, while still married to Deering, he fathered a daughter with another woman, a producer at Fox, Jennifer Rauchet, whom he eventually married, in 2019. As he and Deering wrangled their way through a difficult divorce, as the Times first reported, his mother, Penelope Hegseth, sent him an e-mail excoriating him as “an abuser of women” who “belittles, lies, cheats, sleeps around, and uses women for his own power and ego.” She admonished him, “Get some help and take an honest look at yourself.”

Yikes, you worshippers of Curt's Holy Trinity and po's metaphorical Rachel. This is old news.

I've always doubted Hegseth is Trump's best nominee but he fits with what Trump has in mind and he'll probably get a lot of support from Trump voters.

    Interesting, ain't.

You Kammy voters are now reduced to reading up on dirt about former Fox News employees who are now Cabinet nominees.

    Can it possibly get better!!!!!?

  4. by Indy! on December 3, 2024 2:00 pm

He fits in with the orange ass stain, of course - two womanizers who can't keep their hands to themselves.

  5. by Curt_Anderson on December 3, 2024 3:01 pm
Hegseth must really have been an offensive drunk if he was too much of a lush for a military veterans' group.

  6. by meagain on December 3, 2024 5:28 pm
Old news, HtS! That makes it acceptable then, does it?

You see any "charity" that includes the words "veterans", "warriors" or "soldiers" - do not donate because they are 99% sure to be a scam. If veterans need help - the gov't should pay for it.

The government won't do anything for a veteran they don't have to. And with dirtbags that want to reduce the military budget, that assistance isn't possible. I'm stuck at 80% disabled, and I'm still holding for benefits. Donna once talked about using Medicaid and what a pain it is. The VA is the same. They're paid to treat symptoms, not correct the problems. So you never get better, you just have to take more drugs. And then they wonder why so many veterans are addicted. AND if you claim PTS or TBI, you're automatically put on a federal list for BATFE to come out without a warrant, and without probable cause and no knock your house.

Example; A military member is killed by your buddies. The spouse has 30 days from their notification to be cleared out of base housing (if they're using it). That means the spouse needs to collect the family, bury their loved one, and move themselves and the kids out of their house.

Also, the ONLY military group that receives any government funding is the American Legion. So when you see thing like VFW, Tunnels to Towers, Wounded Warrior, they are completely self funded. The VA has less than 100 apartments for homeless veterans. Tunnels to Towers is building three housing units in FL for veterans that can handle 1500 veterans. They are complete with counselors for PTS, TBI. Rehab areas. Clinics, etc. The older veterans have their choice of a tiny house, or an apartment.

You couldn't pass the ASFAB? or the physical? Or you were a worthless toxic individual? Or you don't give any shit about any other human being?

No, OD... the bottom line you're looking for is I was smarter than you.

    Hey, gang!

That gay Guy Curt never heard of just offered a vigorous and compelling defense of Hegseth.

Guy is a GOP but he ain't nuthin close to a MAGA!

I think it's really fresh that the people who hate the military the worst, and still think Gomor Pyle was a documentary feel free to make judgements about Pete. Should he be in charge of the Pentagon? I would have picked someone else.

In charge of the enlisted forces? Absolutely. He's got a lot of empathy for his people. He knows them and takes care of them. The folks that served with him would go to the gates of hell for him. That says a lot. In addition to his time serving in the Army, Pete also authored the book War on Warriors (among several others), which spent nine weeks on the New York Times Best Seller list, including two weeks at the number one spot. This points out exactly what is going on in this site. Cowards who can't buy a clue talking shit to make themselves look bigger than they are (and less cowardly. It didn't help your cause).

To further reassure critics, Pete also led two veterans' advocacy organizations, demonstrating his commitment to the U.S. troops and his country. I've met Pete and spoke with him at more than a few times in these organizations. He echos the concerns of the likes of Sean Parnell (who was leaking cranial fluid out of his ear in one battle and refused to leave his men), Nathaniel Fick who was accepted to Princton until they found out he was a military officer, and LTC Steve Russell.

Having studied and witnessed the issues with reintegration, PTS, and TBI, at least I have some empathy. Is that a "good" thing to do? No. And when you have those on this site that "think" it's this or that, it's hard to ignore assholes. Especially when they hide behind they're daddy's skirts for protection.

  13. by Indy! on December 4, 2024 7:48 pm

The "war on warriors"? What's the problem - they have too many holidays dedicated to them? 🤔

  14. by oldedude on December 4, 2024 8:31 pm
You mean the ONE holiday for them (Veterans' Day?).

  15. by oldedude on December 4, 2024 9:41 pm
    stupidfuck.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  16. by Indy! on December 5, 2024 1:10 am

Memorial Day. Ooops, military “expert” fails again.

  17. by oldedude on December 5, 2024 4:45 am
Memorial Day is for dead people. Not necessarily veterans. In many families they place wreaths on non-veteran graves. Oops! FAILED "ART" "DEGREE." I understand you visualize that everyone who served is better than you (which is true) and you invent lies to compensate for your own inadequacies. But you don't know enough about WtF is outside your small, shallow, insignificant life which stews your hatred of everyone else. Thusly, you're a "delicate" little toxic "man".

Even with that, you're talking two DAYS a year. Here are the groups that get a month. These are only celebrating groups of race, creed, color, ethnic origin, and gender preference.

  18. by Indy! on December 5, 2024 9:41 am

The overcompensation says everything, but I notice that even with the inclusion of such family-oriented "holidays" as "No Nut November" (😂) you still missed a SHIT TON of military themed holidays, Odorous...

    Military Calendar

    Military Calendar (Holidays, Events, Observances)
February 19: U.S. Coast Guard Reserve Birthday
March 3: U.S. Navy Reserve Birthday
    March 13: K9 Veterans Day
March 25: Medal of Honor Day
March 29: Vietnam War Veterans Day
April 5: Gold Star Spouses Day
April 14: Air Force Reserve Birthday
April 23: U.S. Army Reserves Birthday
May 1: Silver Star Service Banner Day
May (Last Monday of May): Memorial Day
June 27: National Post Traumatic Disorder Awareness Day
July 27: Korean War Veterans Armistice Day
August 4: U.S. Coast Guard Birthday
August 7: U.S. Purple Heart Day
August 29: U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Birthday
September 15: National POW/MIA Recognition Day
September 18: U.S. Air Force Birthday
September 25: Gold Star Mother’s and Family Day
    November 10: Marine Corps Birthday
    November 11: Veterans Day
December 7: Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day
December 13: U.S. National Guard Birthday
December 17: National Wreaths Across America Day
December 20: U.S. Space Force Birthday

There are only two months out of the year that DON'T have a military themed holiday. Call me when you find another group with HALF as many days dedicated to them as the military.

It's "interesting" both were found🙄, especially because I asked nicely and was LIED TO (this is one of your lies). Again, this shows people here have zero morals or ethics. I had to laugh when curt put up the "ethical question"..... I almost threw up in my mouth. I figured you had it in your prison pocket. At least both of you can find it...

  20. by oldedude on December 5, 2024 7:30 pm
I especially liked the month-long remembrance of the confederate soldier🤣. Just for you.

So you celebrate the USMC Birthday? 🤣

My bet is that you "may" say you know maybe two of those. Because you don't give a flying shit about anyone who served. Well, you actually don't give a shit about any other human being. My bet is that your uncles hate you with every inch of their being. You're too much of a fucking sociopathic coward to even look someone who served in the eyes (of course, that's because you're drooling at the bulge in his pants, so there's that). Memorial Day for you is "national BBQ day" when your cartel buddies murder a couple of hookers and roast their thighs on the grill.

So I guess that your over overcompensation says everything... (worthless toxic little "delicate" "man" [I use the term "man" loosely] motherfucker who hides under her daddy's skirts). And you've proven to be a complete liar,

  21. by Indy! on December 6, 2024 10:42 am

Where is my lie, liar? We're done with this bullshit, queenie. Everytime you say I lie - I'm calling your lying ass out on it. You couldn't find a lie of mine if your welfare check depended on it.

  22. by Indy! on December 6, 2024 10:43 am

And don't cry because I set your ass straight again. You should be getting used to it now, Queen Liar.
