I've always thought that Memorial Day sales were in poor taste. This is worse.

On the day other ex-presidents visit memorial sites to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the September 2001 terrorist attacks, former President Trump will be providing commentary on a boxing match between former heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield and former UFC light heavyweight champion Vitor Belfort.

Donald Trump Jr. will join his father during the Triller Fight Club evening matchup in Hollywood, Florida. The Trumps' "unfiltered boxing commentary" and match will be available on Pay-Per-View and FITE, according to a press release.

Who the hell was gonna come anywhere near matching what the Trump's demanded take is gonna be from this thing, just for him to present himself at a solemn public ceremony, thereby proving he possesses a human soul that he absolutely does not...?

Just so you don't miss it, Trump will be appearing in person, not via phone, on the #1 late night show, GUTFELD!.

Being a regular viewer, I'm sure po already knew that.

I have long recognized that one of Trump's super powers is a total lack of shame. I can't think of anything more disgraceful than an ex-president doing boxing commentary on the 20th anniversary of 9/11. I have to believe that even Trump had a momentary pause when approached about this. He just may need the money.

But what can you expect from a man whose reaction to the Twin Towers collapsing was to brag that he now owned the tallest building in Manhattan?

From what I have read, that trait or characteristic is common in people who are afflicted with a narcissistic disorder. They instinctively block or pull back from the emotional experience of shame. For them it's like touching something hot and instinctively pulling your hand back. They keep such feelings at a distance.

Incidentally boxing match is a disgrace in its own right regardless of a date it occurs. Evander Holyfield is 58 years old. I wonder how he got medical clearance to box.
