This is not about "whatif's" and "whataboutisms," it's about things that have been done.
1. Prosecute critics. Starting with obomber, the dims have launched illegal investigations into their critics. From Politicians to middle class parents that actually care about their children. This is one of trumpsters best tools against them. Every time something happens to him, or another critic, people can see "that could happen to me." And they're correct.
Presidents have traditionally not inserted themselves into criminal cases. But that has been a choice; a president has the power to issue orders to the Justice Department. Obomber/pedojoe, cliton, pedojoe/kammy, and now kammy, have all directed the DOJ to proceed with illegal and unconstitutional investigations. These "investigations" or "directives" have directly impacted the lives of hundreds of people including political critics, and common citizens. I have continued this ad nauseum.
2. Silence critics in other ways. The same individuals listed above have also useed their regulatory powers to shape public discourse. They have sent DOJ Agents to NBC, MSNBC and CBS and other news sources to spread lies, or to squelch news that would look the administration look bad.
These comments echo the silencing campaigns that foreign leaders like Vlad (the Impaler), the CCP, Iran, and other enemies of the US watch carefully.
3. Reward allies and campaign donors. First, political friend and enemies. As Biden was booted off the campaign by obomber, cliton, little nancy, and a plethora of others, things in the party were being set up for an overthrow of the Republic. biden had overtly given favors to China and Iran, two of the worst enemies the US has. Giving Iran over $6BILLION by joe, and $1.7 BILLION in cash by obomber so Iran can fund HAMAS, The Houthis, and any other terrorist organization to kill Americans. Obomber changed the ROE for the Taliban to handcuff the US military, driving up casualties, and included jailing his own military members for protecting themselves.
4. Replace federal employees with loyalists. This has already been set up by the pedojoe administration. The pedojoe administration already implemented this. A contractor was hired to survey the "political" views of employees and how they stand on the current administration. To be clear, this is NOT the FEVS, which is a tool regarding employees satisfaction with the work environment. Don't get them confused.
True, there is an argument that such an order promotes democracy by causing the federal work force to reflect the elected president. But the moves may also strip the government of nonpartisan expertise that connects policy with reality. And combined with Trump’s many anti-democratic promises, the wholesale firing of federal employees could allow him to use the government for his personal whims.
5. Undermine previously enacted policies. The interesting thing about this is that ALL Presidents are going to sign Executive Orders, that's a given. And some of them are going to be rejected by SCOTUS, also a given. In trumpster's term, he chose to deal with the DACA issue by getting with congress and making it a law, rather than an EO. It was flatly rejected by little nancy and chuckie. As I've said before, the joe and kammy show are still trying to repay college loans, even though SCOTUS has rejected it twice.
6. Refuse to transfer power peacefully. As we've seen, even when trumpster didn't get elected, the left was out burning cities. And kammy's kuck opened the windows just to smell the tires burn for "freedom." When was the last time a liberal was targeted in an assassination attempt? I remember Steve Scalise, the Chief Justice of SCOTUS, trumpster (where the folks on this site were sad to see the bullet missed). So it's the left that has the history of violence.
And you still have cliton whining incessantly about having the "election stolen." Same thing with stacey abrams.
