Ben does a great job explaining the scheme, as does Trump advisor Steve Bannon after the 18 minute mark. Essentially it's about using the 12th Amendment to trigger a contingency election, and it all rests on which party controls the House after the election.

    You know that Bannon and Rudi had that chat in 020.

    The Electoral Count Act is the law of the land, Donna. I'm surprised that "that feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap's" administration didn't try to do something about the law.

    And, Donna. Considering the zaniness of what you to, I wish you would stick to Rachel, metaphorical or literal.

    I find the MeidasTouch videos a bit ponderous. I like Glenn Kirshner, a former federal prosecutor, who is more succinct. Kirshner explains Trump and Johnson's "secret plan" and how the Supreme Court ruling in Trump v. United States (which he calls an aptly named decision) gives Joe Biden the power to quash their plot.

    Tip: you can speed up the playback speed of the 13 minute video as Kirshner speaks very clearly.

    I find the MeidasTouch videos a bit ponderous.

    WAY too ponderous for me. Dude makes Rachel Maddow look like an auctioneer. This is a real problem with the Dems in general imho - they always feel like they have to explain things as though they are talking to children. That 20 minute video could be 5 minutes and still tell us everything important. I know this without even watching it.

    I just watched the Glenn Kirshner video. If Biden exercised his "core Constitutional powers", Trump could still take his case to the Supreme Court, and they could rule in his favor. Biden's presidential immunity would only come into play if Biden did something that would be illegal if anyone besides the president did it.
