So, you woke, watch Hinchcliffe's 9 minute routine. It's no more offensive than was Carlin 52 years ago.

    Tony Hinchcliffe is no George Carlin. Carlin wasn't a comedian who would be welcomed at Nazi or Klan rally.

    Hinchcliffe’s set also included jokes targeting Jews and Black men and a reference to Black Americans carving watermelons for Halloween instead of pumpkins, but it was his comments about Puerto Rico that generated the most attention and backlash.

    The fact that Hinchcliffe and the Trump campaign are having to defend the "jokes" or distance themselves from them should tell you all you need to know.

    Curt, give Hate a break. He's absolutely cool with his party's racism, so a flagrantly racist right-wing comedian is nothing to him. Racial stereotype jokes are hilarious to him. Probably because they speak to the lower echelons of human intelligence.

    Which probably makes it a natural for him. Due to the decreased intelligence that being a bald MAGA Hat Cult member has sunk him to.

    DONALD TRUMP’S CAMPAIGN WAS LEFT scrambling Sunday night after roast-comic Tony Hinchcliffe made insulting jokes about Hispanic and black people on stage at the ex-president’s Madison Square Garden rally.

    The lines sparked immediate backlash and even condemnation from fellow Republicans. But four top campaign sources said it could have been even worse.

    “He had a joke calling [Vice President Kamala] Harris a ‘cunt,’” a campaign insider involved in the discussions about the event told The Bulwark. “Let’s say it was a red flag.”

    Hinchcliffe’s remarks—and the ensuing backlash—has sparked questions about how such an offensive speech was allowed at such a high-profile rally; whether it was deliberate; and why a presidential campaign would elevate a roast-master comic edgelord in the closing days of a tight race for the White House.

    Campaign staffers had asked all speakers to submit drafts of their speeches ahead of time—before they were loaded into the teleprompter—according to the aforementioned sources. Once the objectionable “cunt” joke was spotted, the sources said, a staffer asked Hinchcliffe to strike it. He complied.

    I've been saying that it's possible that Donald Trump has reshaped American politics alliances in a way no one has.


    Just to be clear. pb wasn't thrilled by the Hinchcliffe monolog but he does follow stand-up comedy a little. Hinchcliffe was nothing special. And, woke Dem Swampcultists are certainly overreacting to it in a way ole pb thinks won't resonate with moderate and independent common sense voters and the undecided.

    But, all you woke?, please feel free to love to hate it to your heart's content.

    The event went on for frigginhours and Hinchcliffe's routine lasted 10 minutes. No one laughed or liked it.

    The rest of the evening was a raucous success.

    Hinchcliffe's routine was mild compared to what goes on daily in every comedy club in America.

    And, moderate and independent common sense voters know it.

    Period.

    Good luck with your phony, humorless offense.

    PB - like all racists - doesn't understand the problem. The comedian is a symptom of the problem. The problem was someone in Trump's campaign (probably Mayor McFatass himself) - wanted that comedian there to do exactly what he did... let the sheet-wearing troops (PB, OD and their ilk) know where Trump really stands on these things. Even if it was one little "joke" - it was enough to let us know Trump is telling the racists and bigots he's going to treat them right if America is dumb enough to elect this walking shit stain come November.

    And Bill, voters don't generally attend comedy club shows to hear their presidential candidate and their policies. How stupid.

    I read a couple of articles today on how Trump's decision to allow the racist Hitchcliffe to speak at his proto-fascist rally and demean Puerto Rico could break the virtual tie in PA and catapault Harris into a clear lead there. PA, like all eastern states, is home to tens of thousands of Puerto Rican Americans.
