Nice pep talk from Rick Wilson of The Lincoln Project.

Rick spoke about a bunch of new Republican polls that are outliers when compared with established polling agencies. He said that they're designed to "break your spirit".

Perhaps. But I think they're skewing the polls to make it look like Trump is doing better than he really is so that when Kamala wins, it'll look like the Democrats cheated.

Just a tad conspiratorial, there, Donna. Check out the NYT, CNN and CNBC polls on RCP.

I think that Rick is aluding to polling agencies that aren't on that list. None of those polls at RCP deviate far from "even".

The Lincoln Project is bullshit. Just another GOP con to pretend like they are "moderate".

  4. by HatetheSwamp on October 26, 2024 3:45 am

    They are NeverTrumpers, Indy!

The GOP is the home of openness and inclusion, acceptance, diversity, tolerance, freedom and love!

    Donna,

I watched the video. Some outright lies. Many errors, presumably born of hopeful
    but deranged TrumpHate.

Having said that, I'm still hopeful that the Dingbat will pull this out.

pb is about ready to post his Presidiential and Senate predictions. Here's a hint on where he's leaning:

pb has Kammy winning the popular vote by just a tad more than Hillary's 2.1%.

He has Kammy winning, preliminarily, 287-251 in the Electoral College.

But, he has the GOP winning the Senate 52-48.

"The Lincoln Project is bullshit. Just another GOP con to pretend like they are "moderate"." - Indy

No they aren't. They're joining forces with Democrats to defeat fascism - that's it. Republicans who endorse Harris fully acknowledge that they don't see eye to eye with Democrats on a number of issues. Liz Cheney has spoken about that. They're making it okay for traditional Republicans to support Harris/Walz, and they tell their fellow Republicans that they don't have to give up being Republicans nor do they have to agree with Harris and Walz on other issues. I welcome their help to defeat Trump. Without their help, that would be much mire difficult, maybe even impossible.

    Donna,

Can you recognize the historic impact that Donald Trump has had on our politics?

So many SwampGOPs would vote for Mao if he was the D running against Trump... and, think about all the traditional Dems running away from the Dem smoke-filled room: Union members, black and Hispanic men, both Jews and American Muslims.

pb's looking forward to the farce of four years of Kammy in the Oval Office. Either way, who knows what we'll be after Trump is gone from the scene?

  8. by Donna on October 26, 2024 10:30 am

"So many SwampGOPs would vote for Mao if he was the D running against Trump." - Hts

I don't think so. Not Mao. Bad hypothetical. Mao opposed democracy. The sole reason many traditional Republicans are voting for Harris is to protect our democratic republic. They wouldn't vote for Mao or Trump, and neither would I.

  9. by HatetheSwamp on October 26, 2024 10:36 am

    Donna,

You are adept at seeing the bright side. The D's rightful winner of its nomination, with 87% of its voters' votes was couped out of the nomination by the smoke-filled room. Your candidate has garnered no votes ever in a Primary.

    That's anti-democratic to the max.

So is Martial Law, but in an emergency situation, it could save the country.

Btw, the only people who are complaining about what you pointed out are Trump supporters and a handful of Rfkjr supporters.

  11. by HatetheSwamp on October 26, 2024 11:00 am

    What was the "emergency?"

  12. by Indy! on October 26, 2024 11:50 am

Dig deeper, Donna. Those guys are doing more than tiktoks. They bail out everytime there is a controversial issue and go back to voting Repub. I have no doubt most - if not all of them - will be voting for Trump.

  13. by oldedude on October 27, 2024 3:23 am
donna, honest question. Who's talking about martial law?

  14. by Donna on October 27, 2024 8:16 am

No one, od. I thought it was clear that I cited Martial Law as an example of an undemocratic action that could be used to save America.

  15. by oldedude on October 27, 2024 8:53 am
I didn't get that, and thanks for the clarification.
