Again, Lead and OD nailed it, while the voice of the left was complicit in the shredding of the Constitution. Of course, curt's trifecta is now hotly talking about this as if it were "new" news and they knew nothing about it. When hearing about it over a year ago, even indy agreed and had predicted it when FISA was a new thing. At the time I had more faith in our government.

So in addition to lying about the UCR stats, the courts are digging the DOJ into the ground faster than they were against the Trump administration, although that's still part of it. If you're inclined to think you like that far fetched idea of our constitution, You need to look at these just to show you how organized crime works in the obomber and pedojoe organizations. Vlad must be laughing about this!

FBI broke rules in scouring foreign intelligence on Jan. 6 riot, racial justice protests, court says
WASHINGTON (AP) — FBI officials repeatedly violated their own standards when they searched a vast repository of foreign intelligence for information related to the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection at the U.S. Capitol and racial justice protests in 2020, according to a heavily blacked-out court order released Friday.

FBI officials said the thousands of violations, which also include improper searches of donors to a congressional campaign, predated a series of corrective measures that started in the summer of 2021 and continued last year. But the problems could nonetheless complicate FBI and Justice Department efforts to receive congressional reauthorization of a warrantless surveillance program that law enforcement officials say is needed to counter terrorism, espionage and international cybercrime.

FBI misused intelligence database in 278,000 searches, court says
SAN FRANCISCO, May 19 (Reuters) - A U.S. court found that the FBI improperly searched for information in a U.S. database of foreign intelligence 278,000 times over several years, including on Americans suspected of crimes, according to a ruling released on Friday.
The decision by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court was released by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI).
The searches occurred in the course of U.S. crime investigations including the Jan. 6 Capitol riots and protests after the 2020 killing of George Floyd, the court said.

"The FBI's systematic misuse of these resources proves that it (and the rest of the federal government) simply can't be trusted to wield this sort of power," said one campaigner. "Let 702 die."
Friday's "alarming" revelations about U.S. law enforcement's abuse of a powerful surveillance tool "confirmed the worst fears of advocates" and likely further complicated a brewing battle in Congress over reauthorizing a constitutionally dubious spying law.

Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA)—which is set to expire at the end of this year unless reauthorized by federal lawmakers—empowers the U.S. government to engage in warrantless surveillance of electronic communications. Although the law only authorizes targeting foreigners located outside the United States to acquire foreign intelligence information, a massive amount of Americans' data is also collected.

On Friday, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), in consultation with the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), released a pair of redacted Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) opinions—one which revealed that in 2020 and early 2021, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) misused the Section 702 database over 278,000 times.

"These unlawful searches undermine our core constitutional rights and threaten the bedrock of our democracy. It's clear the FBI can't be left to police itself."

The "persistent and widespread" violations by the FBI—which is part of the DOJ—include searches for information related to crime victims, protesters arrested after the 2020 police killing of George Floyd, donors to a congressional candidate, and people suspected of breaching the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.

US Congress Report Calls for Privacy Reforms After FBI Surveillance ‘Abuses’
A report compiled by the Republican majority members of the US House Intelligence Committee says that agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation should be required under the law to obtain a “probable cause warrant” before scouring the database of a controversial foreign intelligence surveillance program for information related to domestic crimes.

The program, which targets the communications of foreigners overseas with the compulsory assistance of US telecom providers, has been the target of significant scrutiny on Capitol Hill, with federal lawmakers frequently airing concerns about its capacity to be turned against the American public, whose texts, emails, and internet calls are collaterally intercepted by the US National Security Agency in unknown quantities each year.

The Intelligence Committee report, first obtained by WIRED, labels the program as essential to combating nuclear proliferation and thwarting terror attacks, adding that it has also been employed successfully in investigations of ransomware targeting US infrastructure, war crimes by Russian soldiers in Ukraine, and the “malign investments” of hostile actors that pose key economic security risks to the United States and its allies.

Still, the program, according to the committee's majority party, has been “abused by those who swore to support and defend the American people—in particular, the FBI.”

Dismantle the FBI, the CIA, the NSA, Homeland Security, the military... They're all creating problems just to justify their jobs.

I agree with an FBI Whistleblower. They need to wholesale fire people near the top. If you were any part of the FISA/ FISC debacles, you're done. No retirement, no free health care, none of that. Although many think jail is appropriate, I know how long they'll live. I don't really care if they die or not, but just to take their retirement and health care is good for me.

Oh, they also need to look at all the cases that were affected by this illegal evidence. That means anyone on Jan 6, any of the Steele dossier, the parents in school board meetings, anything used in the Floyd Riots, Catholics, and all the other minions in any of the other illegal shenanigans the DOJ/IC was up to.
