I've been on a mission with MAGA Hats who I am in contact with to see what they really think about Trump's understanding of what a tariff even is, and how they think they will actually be a benefit to American consumers. Besides parroting back only what Trump tells them about his tariff plans, they go blank after that.

Perhaps the sage and wise MAGA Hats of SelectSmart will be able to defend Trump's tariff plans and can explain in detail how billions of dollars in added cost to Americans' purchasing power will be of any help to them.....

    So... you can't simply say whether you yourself... whether in your own opinion... by your own estimation... are of a mind to believe... that his stated intention as the next president to essentially carpet bomb our economy with tariffs is a good idea or not...?

    No opinion one way or the other? Not important enough for you to think about...? He has this whole economy/tariff thing handled for you, so you don't need to pay it no never mind...?

    I have stated my opinions on Trump's tariffs.and, I think it was in an exchange with Donna. Remember, I have background in econ from college.

    On economics, God forbid, pb's much closer to the Heritage Foundation, i.e., creator of Project 2025 than is MAGA. The Heritage Foundation is exactly as opposed to Trump's tariffs as you, so suddenly, are.

    Wear that with shame, po. Bahahahahahahahahahaha haha haha ha!

    Bill, I have no qualms about tariffs in general. A hammer can be a very useful tool. But not if used against every problem of a project.

You know just from the question, no one want a real answer, they just want to argue This is why I haven't been on too much lately. curt made a remark about not actually looking at topics that actually make a difference in the elections. Great. Out of everyone that posts, He's the absolute worse at posting only on things that don't matter at all. And if he actually considers his "topics" worthwhile, he has an extremely shallow, meaningless life.

    I've said that I'm not a big fan of tariffs.

    Over here, the tariff thing's not much of a deal. But, generally, conservatives and libertarians have always opposed them.
