Likely voters.
The U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan was so badly handled that President Joe Biden should resign because of it, according to a majority of voters. However, most don’t think Vice President Kamala Harris is qualified to replace Biden if he leaves office.
This rings true to me. A huge majority of Americans polled earlier believed that Joe should keep troops in Afghanistan until all Americans were free. Joe defied that opinion.
Will Joe go? Not until a brave, important DC Dem or two stand up for national, not party, interest. Or, perhaps, a Deep Throat will emerge from within the administration.
It's likely that things are going to get worse for Joe. Reuters has the transcript of a damaging phone conversation in July between Joe and Afghan President Ghani. Chaos reigns in Afghanistan. How many tragic, embarrassing videos or audios will emerge from the chaos?
