Republican pollster and former strategist Frank Luntz predicted that Tuesday night’s poor presidential debate effectively lost Donald Trump the election.

After spending weeks warning Donald Trump that he needed to up his game in order to prevent a Kamala Harris victory in November, Republican pollster and former strategist Frank Luntz predicted that Tuesday night’s poor presidential debate did Trump in for good.

“It was a pretty negative performance—pretty pessimistic, cynical, contemptuous,” Luntz said Wednesday on Piers Morgan Uncensored. “And I think that this will cost him, yes.”

“I’m trying to decide if I want to go on record, and the answer is yes,” he added, “I think that he loses because of this debate performance.”

When a person applies for a job, the minimal expectation is that they prepared themselves for the interview. Trump announced beforehand that he would not be doing any formal debate practice. Last night it was obvious he wasn't prepared. He said something like he'd be only doing brief refreshers on policy positions. If I am looking at job applicant I would question their work ethic.

If he thought, as he said, that Kamala Harris isn't smart and that's why he didn't prepare sufficiently, I'd think this job applicant has an inflated ego and is sexist to boot.

A job requirement of the presidency includes the ability to not to be easily baited and manipulated; Trump failed spectacularly.

Also a president should have the ability to be a discerning consumer of information. His crazy talk about Haitians eating pets would cause me as a prospective employer to wonder about his gullibility.

He went off into tangents and down rabbit holes so often where he really seemed worked up, I would be obliged to warn HR about an unbalanced job applicant on the premises.

Have to note that it does feel a lot like it did after Biden gave his slack jaw grandpa performance in July.
