I watched every word of the speech. My first reaction is precisely what the reporter saw. Joe's angry.

At whom? About what? I'll probably add some comments later.

But, Jen's answer!!!!!? Pathetic. Ridiculous. Disingenuous. But, what's she supposed to say?

Poor woman! There's not enough gold in Fort Knox to pay her what she's worth in attempting to make Joe and his incompetent, woke military leadership and weak Department of State seem reasonable, let alone wise.

    What's not to understand? Joe Biden is angry about the thousands of American lives lost in Afghanistan. He's angry at those who want to continue our presence there for no discernible reason or benefit to America.

    Well, sorta, Curt. But she denied that he's angry.

    Then she suggested that he's hepped up over something that nearly everyone agrees with. And, I don't buy that.

    If what?, 75% of people agreed with me, not disagreed with me, I could understand that he'd be exorcised and Jen's answer would be sensical.

    There's a big diff between speaking passionately and being angry.

    Joe was angry in the way people with dementia get angry. But, the question remains, at whom.

    Hts, how did you get the video to appear? On another thread I followed the instructions for posting a video, but it's only showing the link. I suspect that maybe it only posts the actual video if it's in the opening post.

    I've had mixed success linking to YouTube videos. There's a place off to the right designated for YouTube stuff but it doesn't always work when I do it.

    Remember that Lady Gaga, Tony Bennett video? I must have tried a half dozen times to get it to take.
