On one hand I'm angry at these people for taking so many years to conclude what should have been obvious to them right away, but I'm glad that they finally escaped the MAGA cult and came to their senses. These testimonials will likely appear in Harris-Walz ads in Florida.

Florida is definitely in play.

    What's Trump's latest view on the Florida bill that would essentially reinstate Roe on the state level? I ask because he's been flip-flopping.

    I sense that Trump actually agrees with the bill, but he hasn't committed either way because the Heritage Foundation, the group that authored Project 2025, has some kind of power over him. I'm thinking that the HF agreed to help him win the election in exchange for his full support of Project 2025. That would explain why he's been reluctant to issue a full-throated condemnation of any of their proposals.

    Originally he agreed the current law (6 wks) was not long enough. Then as soon as the first evangelical coughed - he flip-flopped and now he's against it... which is right where we want him. The new law is going to pass easily imho.

    We also have rec weed on the ballot finally. The med weed place down the block has signs all over the yard saying "Vote YES on Amendment 3! I found out they are the main people behind the law.
