I'm not surprised. It went so well for him that tons of media organizations are now calling for him to drop out of the race it went so well.

HAAAAAAAH HAAAAAA HAAAA HAAAAAAAAAAAAA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA...!!!!!

Oh what a thing to watch that was. Absolutely delicious! I swear, he's the most cowardly whining crybaby ever to bitch and moan his way into politics. He's the world's oldest immature spoiled brat. What a wimpy, whining, jellyfish of an excuse for a man.

"Oh you're being so mean to me! You're supposed to be nice to me! This is the most horrible thing anyone's ever done to me! You're so mean and nasty! Stop asking me questions I don't want to answer! You're all just a big bunch of meanies!!! I'm telling my mom on you!!! WAAAAAAAH WAAAAAAH WAAAH WAAH WAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!", he said. Or words to that affect.

I've discovered that there are few things I enjoy more than watching black women hand Trump his demented orange ass on a silver platter. And it's been happening so much lo these many months. So many great episodes!

And it's going to be happening much more and constantly now that Kamala's campaign is really building up steam.

A landslide I'm tellin' ya...

I watched it on NYT’s website.

It did not take long before the interview went off the rails. Besides the hostility, misogyny and racism what caught my attention was Trump trying out a new excuse for losing the upcoming election. He was whining that it was unfair that Biden dropped out and was replaced by Kamala Harris. Trump compared that to being in a boxing match in the middle rounds and the opposing boxer is switched out for a new, fresh boxer.

Yesterday, a Republican strategist and member of the Lincoln Project, a guy named Stuart. I forgot his entire name, made an interesting point. He said that in working with candidates one of the tougher things for a candidate to deal with is if they seem to be cruising the victory and then have a sudden setback where the polls tighten or they fall behind. He said that not all candidates have emotional maturity to pick themselves up, and get back into the fight. He doubted that Donald Trump has that sort of emotional maturity.

Let me start off with two words. I support Kammy. I support Kammy.

I ain't MAGA but I mentioned it in another thread.

Curiously, real MAGAs aren't fans of what Trump did. This morning, on Fox and Friends, Brian Kilmead was a tad defensive about it. But, being a white dude for Kamala, as I am, honestly?, I thought it was a net win for the Orange Turd. Did you hear the audience sympathizing with him?

It's as ole pb said, Trump showed up while our candidate just, somehow, couldn't find the time.

The whole thing reminds me of 016 when the woke progressive SwampMedia yelped and tittered... as you just have, po... at Trump's buffoonery... until election night. I'm worried.

    Two thoughts:

    1. First, can you tell me what you think Trump lost? That first barrage of so-called "questions," from Rachel Scott tells the whole story. Trump accepted an invitation to be treated unfairly and verbally abused by an organization who, as you'd say, EFFINhate him. Even as a supporter of Kammy, I think he was restrained.
    2. Get used to it. This is Trump's schtick for 024. Go to places where he's not wanted to make his case. The Bronx, the Jersey shore, a conference of the National Association of Black Journalists. And, po, our gal, Kammy didn't show.

As I watched. I thought about bubba Clinton in 92. This may prove to be Trump's Sister Souljah moment.

Don't become too giddy, po. Trump might still pull this out.

    Curt,

    Baha.

Re: "Yesterday, a Republican strategist and member of the Lincoln Project, a guy named Stuart..."

In all my born days on SS, since 04, I've never seen a more absurd oxymoron. Good'ne, Curt EFFINgood'ne!

  4. by Curt_Anderson on August 1, 2024 9:12 am
That’s because he is a real, principled Republican and you are not.

  5. by HatetheSwamp on August 1, 2024 9:23 am

I will acknowledge that the GOP is the home of openness and inclusion, acceptance, diversity, tolerance and freedom...

    ...even Lincoln Project freedom.

"And, I'm proud to be a (Republican)," as the song says.

"Let me start off with two words. I support Kammy. I support Kammy." -Hate

And let me start off with two words: You're a fuckingliar, Bill. You're a fuckingliar, Bill."

You aren't going to vote or her. You aren't going to donate to her campaign. You aren't ever going to post anything positive about her. There is no tangible way that you support her at all. In fact, there's no way that you could even explain how you "support" her that won't be ludicrously asinine and ridiculous.

    • You say you support Harris, but there is no way that you have or will ever present anything to support that assertion.

    • You say you aren't a MAGA, but you support them and defend them and support Trump with every post you make about either.

You're simply a hypocritical, two-faced fuckingliar, Bill. And it's pretty weird how you keep acting like it's a badge of honor or something to be that.

I splained. I ain't votin for either major party candidate...

    ...but I'm rootin for Kammy.

Wouldn't it be an EFFINhoot if a candidate is elected President on a HE'S WEIRD platform?

    I HatetheSwamp. I'm for Kammy.

  8. by Ponderer on August 1, 2024 9:49 am

"...but I'm rootin for Kammy." -Hate

...In no other way whatsoever other than typing those words?

    Totally asinine and ridiculous.

  9. by HatetheSwamp on August 1, 2024 10:46 am

    po,

I operate in a different paradigm than do you. It's one not too different from Indy's.

I mean it when I say that the Swamp provides a good cop and a bad cop and lets the gullible decide which is which. The silliness that takes place in DC is nuthin more than a pageant put on by the uniparty.

It doesn't matter who wins. Nothing is going to be done about immigration or guns... other than people like you getting enraged....and... people like you with money doling out donations.

The election is like watching the Miss America contest. It doesn't matter who wins... but, I think Miss Iowa is cute and I like how she sang Send in the Clowns. So, I'm rootin for her.

    G'head. Be gullible.

But, the notion that Kammy could win the presidency on a "He's Weird" platform tickles me.

  10. by Ponderer on August 1, 2024 12:28 pm

"It doesn't matter who wins." -Hate

You certainly aren't alone in believing that. But you'll have to forgive those of us who have been paying enough attention to who and what Donald Trump is to know that it absolutely does matter whether he inhabits the Oval Office again or not.

You go ahead and poo poo everything we say about him and as president what he would oversee this country being turned into all you want. Go ahead and vote for whatever vanity candidate that will help you live with yourself. There will still likely be enough open-eyed voters in this country who have paid enough attention to the reality of that lying orange con man to feel as we do. Enough, I believe, for Kamala to win in a landslide I'm tellin' ya.

So be as electorally irrelevant as you want to be. Knock yourself out.

  11. by HatetheSwamp on August 1, 2024 12:52 pm

    TDS in action:

"...you'll have to forgive those of us who have been paying enough attention to who and what Donald Trump is to know that it absolutely does matter whether he inhabits the Oval Office again or not." -po

No. Not at all. He'd reverse the same Executive Orders that "that feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap" reversed in 021. But, he'll pass nuthin of value through Congress.

    Remember:

The Swamp provides a good cop and a bad cop and lets the gullible to choose which is which.

    Just relax.

  12. by Curt_Anderson on August 1, 2024 2:20 pm
Evan Gershkovich and Paul Whelan would disagree that it doesn’t matter who is president.

  13. by Indy! on August 1, 2024 3:49 pm

Apparently the Trumpster thought immigration was a big issue with black folks.

  14. by Ponderer on August 1, 2024 4:41 pm

"They're coming here... their coming and stealing all the black jobs..." -D. Trump

And I loved how the interviewer jumped right in there and asked, "Sir, what is a 'black job'?"

What a blithering idiot. He must have thought he was talking to just another room full of his lobotomized supporters. That audience was having none of it. They never bit at a single scare-tactic lie that he put on a hook. It was a beautiful thing.

    ALITY

And you know he showed up thinking he was going to steamroll them. He's rethinking his rethinking on the debate with Kamala...

Curt #12- Evan Gershkovich and Paul Whelan would disagree that it doesn’t matter who is president.
Maybe, but I will bet my ass they'll support the US Constitution more than you! And they know more about it more, and appreciate it more!

  17. by oldedude on August 1, 2024 9:31 pm
And I loved how the interviewer jumped right in there and asked, "Sir, what is a 'black job'?"
Really? It's the shit jobs the dims have left to their "nigs" to clean up after you while you shit on the places they clean up. He was actually trying to give them jobs with benefits. You know, those jobs you don't have? It makes a difference, doesn't it?

  18. by HatetheSwamp on August 2, 2024 4:39 am

    Exactly, OD.

I don't know who was in the audience, but, clearly some sympathized with Trump and they knew what Trump meant.

The, as you call em dims, are in trouble with black men this time and that exchange explains tons. There are black woke electric limousine lovin progressive Swampcultists, too.

They are as offensive to other blacks as they are to us... and, I suspect that Curt knows that. I hope so.

  19. by Ponderer on August 2, 2024 8:03 am

"And you know he showed up thinking he was going to steamroll them. He's rethinking his rethinking on the debate with Kamala..." -Indy!

I believe he thinks that when all is said and done, there isn't an audience in America that he can't bamboozle like he can his rally-going followers and the MAGA Hats in here. I think he believes that any groups he might encounter are all just suckers and chumps who just need him to lie to them to get them to do what he wants them to.

He's shown and proven over and over again that people really mean nothing more to him than what he can con them into and/or out of.

  20. by HatetheSwamp on August 2, 2024 8:16 am

    First, again,...

Let me start off with two words. I support Kammy. I support Kammy.

This just feels so 016 to me with Curt's Holy Trinity and po's metaphorical and literal Rachel laughing at Trump and mocking and guffawing while Trump plods away, picking up a vote here and there.

Trump walked into a lion's den... and, stole a news cycle when it's all about Kammy. And, I can't see that he could have lost a vote.

I remember how convinced I was in 016 that Hillary had everything locked up. Let's not get overconfident. Trump might still pull this out.

  21. by Indy! on August 2, 2024 10:37 am

2016 was all about Hillary - nothing else. Anyone could have run against her and won because (as I said at the time) - Hillary was the ONLY choice the Ds could make to lose. Why? Because she would increase R turnout and depress the D turnout. That's exactly what happened. The People do not like Hillary and besides that - her moment had already passed. Kamala's moment was not 2020 as the party thought - her moment is now. The People may not love her - but they don't hate her either and they are interested in making history with a woman president and it includes the bonus of keeping Trump out of our business the next 4 years. This is VERY different than 2016 where Trump got a free ride to the WH.

  22. by Indy! on August 2, 2024 10:40 am

    Old Dud:
Really? It's the shit jobs the dims have left to their "nigs" to clean up after you while you shit on the places they clean up.

Racism is like a nasty rotten boil on the butt of humanity. Those infected by it eventually have to let it pop out. Only a matter of time.

  23. by Ponderer on August 2, 2024 10:49 am

olde dude thinks that just because he bought a Captain America costume at a garage sale and wears it all the time in here that it means that he isn't a flaming racist.

  24. by Ponderer on August 2, 2024 10:53 am

"It's the shit jobs the dims have left to their "nigs" to clean up after you while you shit on the places they clean up." -olde dude

od, you should forward that to Trump's campaign so that the next time he is asked what thefuck he meant by a "black job", he can tell them instead of looking like a dopey racist dufus.

    Get on that, STAT!

Scoop: Trump stalled Black journalists interview over fact-checking
(Axios)Moments before former President Trump took the stage at the National Association of Black Journalists annual convention in Chicago on Wednesday, the organization's president was called back to address an issue.

Why it matters: Trump did not want to be fact-checked live and was refusing to go on stage, NABJ president Ken Lemon told Axios.

"[Trump's team] said, 'Well, can you not fact check? He's not going to take the stage if you fact-check,'" Lemon said.

At the time, President Trump blamed the delay on audio problems.
Lemon told Axios, "There were audio problems, but they were resolved very quickly."

"The bigger problem was his threat not to take the stage when he had agreed to go on. He did not want to be fact-checked, but we could not let him on the stage without fact-checking," Lemon said.

That's where twitter comes in handy. Get a couple of those twitter detectives on it - have a scrolling bar on the side or the bottom of the TV screen where they can post whatever info they come up with on Trump's alleged "facts" in real tine.
