Vance secures the social conservatives in the GOP base who are livid over the GOP position on abortion in the platform.
Imagine. Kammy adopts the Gays Against Groomers' position and is LGB-friendly but aggressively anti-TQ. She'd try to balance her ticket with social wokesters like po. Her Veep pick wouldn't attract moderates. Her own position would. The Veep pick would secure the base.
Have you noticed? Kammy's campaign is dodging issues now,... except abortion. Despite what your Holy Trinity and po's metaphorical Rachel are reporting, Trump's positions are extremely pragmatic, if not moderate for 024. So, Kammy's stuck with saying he's weird... and backtracking from her past positions.
On the issues, Kammy will be on defensive up to election day.
She'll need to do the opposite of what Trump did. She's already the woke version of Vance. She'll need a moderate for balance.
