Doddering Donald Trump now the oldest presidential nominee in U.S. history

Let me start off with two words: covfefe, covfefe.

Remember when four years ago, Joe Biden was the oldest presidential nominee in U.S. history. Well, he's only three years older than Trump, which means Doddering Donny now holds that honor.

I can't wait to see all the campaign ads showing Trump's cognitive decline. Remember when he couldn't tell the difference between Nancy Pelosi and Nikki Haley?

Democrats seized on Donald Trump's age Sunday�turning Republicans' attack on Joe Biden back on them.

�The man is nearly 80-years-old and so the question is, can he serve another four years? I'm not sure he can,� former South Carolina state representative Bakari Sellers told CNN.

The attack was unavailable to the party until 1.46pm on Sunday when Biden stepped aside but was waiting in plain sight.

On Thursday, Trump became the oldest presidential nominee in U.S. history at the age of 78, beating the previous record holder President Joe Biden by one year. Trump�s campaign messaging focused heavily on Biden�s age, running attack ads using clips of the president looking forgetful or sluggish posing the question of whether he would physically survive a second term.

�Donald Trump is too old to be President,� Rep. Casey Weinstein (D-OH) on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Anti-Trump Republican George Conway also chimed in, writing �Seriously, how do you convince people you�re going to make America great again with some old guy who slurs his words and rambles incoherently after his jail ti� � um, I mean bedtime??�

I had Fox on for a while yesterday after the NASCAR Cup race. (Thrilling. I'm a Larson fan.)

Interestingly, in about the last year, Fox has drifted back to the "We report. You decide," version of itself from the early days. And, the Dems they interviewed yesterday regularly beat the "Trump's too old" drum.

Apparently, the DNC had already sent out talking points.

I think that Trump is a weak candidate and that he has several vulnerabilities. But, appearing decrepit is not one of them...

...particularly after Dems had so strenuously defended their own Doddering Old Fool for so long.

First. Obviously, we have a huge problem with the english language here. Donald Trump was born on June 14, 1946. pedojoe was born November 20, 1942. He�s 74 years old, so he�s younger than Biden by about three years.

So IF pedojoe was the oldest presidential nominee "IN HISTORY" and trumpster is running at the same time, simple deduction would say that "in history" means the history of the US. The birth dates haven't changed. pedojoe is STILL the oldest presidential nominee in history.🙄

kammie is part and parcel of hiding pedojoe's decline. SO she is part of the problem with the dim(wit) party. It is stupid to vote for someone with that little amount of integrity in their soul. Of course, she's supported by people with even a smaller moral compass, so there's that.

Also, Biden is not and will not be the nominee for his party.

Biden was never the official nominee for this election. He was 77 when he was the nominee in 2020. Trump is 78 and the official party nominee. That makes Trump the oldest presidential nominee ever.

Both of them are actually older than their ages too. Biden due to his brain aneurism, Trump due to his lack of any formal education.
