Reportedly three American service personnel were injured in the blast. I know what you're thinking, HtS. If only we had more troops stationed there things would be so much better. Because nothing stops suicide bombers like U.S. soldiers in large numbers.
By the way, before this blast I heard on NPR that the state department informed Americans to stay away from the airport until they received further instructions. I wonder if they had a tip or strong suspicions that something like this might happen.

Curt, I'm effin not thinking that. Dumping a few thousand troops in one place with no real mission other than to lift a baby or two out of the hands of a desperate mother is not why we send people to boot camp.
In all of this, it's hard to see a more clear example of Joe's demented incompetence.
All that said, this was predictable...heck, it was PREDICTED...it breaks my heart and yours, too, I'm certain.
