It is difficult to converse with a person who just makes things up.
Just to clear up immediately, the clitons did, in fact invite
When Chelsea Clinton wed Marc Mezvinsky back in 2010, it was a star-studded affair. However, one guest was certainly more infamous than famous. We're talking about Ghislaine Maxwell — yes, the Ghislaine Maxwell currently serving 20 years in prison for sexually grooming underage girls.
Maxwell didn't exactly hide the fact that she was at the former first daughter's nuptials. Far from it, in fact. In one snap of Bill Clinton walking Chelsea down the aisle, her appearance is unmistakable as she grins at the bride-to-be. Why is her being there and not afraid to show it relevant? As it turns out, according to court documents, she'd managed to skip out on a deposition that was part of Virginia Giuffre's (then Virginia Roberts) case against Jeffrey Epstein. She'd done that by telling the court she needed to leave the U.S. (and possibly never return) to be with her sick mother.
Miraculously, Maxwell's mother recovered not long after, and despite telling the court she might never return to America, the socialite was spotted in an aisle seat at Chelsea's Rhinebeck, New York wedding. The flagrant disregard for her would-be deposition would raise red flags in itself. However, there was more element that seemed a bit shady. According to Daily Mail, largely as a result of Maxwell's no-show at the deposition, Giuffre's case ended up being settled out of court. Just to put the timing into perspective, Chelsea's wedding took place just two weeks after the settlement was finalized.
And here are the cliton's history.
Bill Clinton, the 42nd president of the United States (1993–2001), has been publicly accused of sexual assault and/or sexual misconduct by several women: Juanita Broaddrick accused Clinton of raping her in 1978; Leslie Millwee[1] accused Clinton of sexually assaulting her in 1980; Paula Jones accused Clinton of exposing himself to her in 1991 as well as sexually harassing her; and Kathleen Willey accused Clinton of groping her without her consent in 1993. The Jones allegations became public in 1994, during Clinton's first term as president, while Willey's and Broaddrick's accusations became public in 1999, toward the end of Clinton's second term. Millwee made her accusations in 2016.
Clinton has denied all four accusations and responded by casting doubt on the credibility of the accusers. In the wake of the Harvey Weinstein sexual abuse cases in 2017 and the many other such cases that emerged in the aftermath, the allegations against Clinton received renewed attention.
Monica Lewinsky
Then President Clinton began an affair with the 22-year-old White House intern in 1995. The two had numerous sexual encounters in the White House, including some in a private office connected to the Oval Office. Lewinsky’s friend, Linda Tripp, recorded several hours of phone conversations in which Lewinsky went into detail about the affair, including the fact that she kept a blue dress that had Clinton’s DNA on it.
When news of the affair broke in January 1998, Clinton denied the allegations for several months until eventually admitting that he had an inappropriate relationship with Lewinsky in August of 1998. The affair ultimately led to Clinton’s impeachment in the House of Representatives on charges of perjury and obstruction of justice, making him only the second president to be impeached. Clinton was then acquitted after an impeachment trial in the Senate and remained in office.
