As a Democrat, I am disappointed in what Republicans call the “Biden injustice system”. So much for selective prosecution and political persecution

    Curt,

If you have the b*lls, watch the first segment of The Five tonight. I'm confident that they'll splain to you how people who ain't locked into the Biden Mafia understand that the Biden injustice system is still the driving reality of Swamp politics in 024.

  2. by Curt_Anderson on June 11, 2024 10:15 am
I can predict what The Five will say: It is election interference by Joe Biden! He is intentionally undermining Trump’s claim of weaponization of the legal system, of which Trump is a victim. Biden purposely has made a mockery of Trump’s two-tiered justice system argument!

  3. by HatetheSwamp on June 11, 2024 11:30 am

I don't think so... by a looooooooong shot.

You lost that one, peebs - take the hit and move on.

  5. by HatetheSwamp on June 11, 2024 1:31 pm

Take a 15 minute watch. I guarand@ngtee. That's not what the gang will say.

  6. by Indy! on June 11, 2024 1:46 pm

If by "gang" you mean the Fox crowd? Sure - Trump could rape Mother Theresa live on youtube and they'd still be voting for Trump. Won't help him a lick come November though.

Dang, HtS, all of the alarms I had set failed to go off so I missed the first segment of “The five”. What did they explain about the “Biden mafia” and the “Biden injustice system”?

    I called it…

Hunter Biden conviction shatters Trump’s persecution narrative
Some of the GOP reaction to Biden becoming a convicted felon was bizarre. One of Trump’s most fervent supporters, Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, baselessly suggested on X that a verdict produced by a jury of his peers was some kind of elaborate plot. “Hunter Biden just became the Deep State’s sacrificial lamb to show that Justice is ‘balanced’ while the other Biden crimes remain ignored,” she wrote on X.

I didn't hear crap about anything "deep state." Stick to facts, you might do better at that. What was said is about him taking one that is very common in other Organized family criminal organizations. I agree with that. If it should have been included (or not, I think it might be out of line) to mention his felonies for being a foreign agent without the necessary paperwork and the "minor" issue of million or so bucks of unpaid taxes (the actual amount he owes, not taxes on ~$1mil). Either way, not here nor there for this round.

What is funny, is that with all the anti-gunners here, I'm the only one that wanted this law enforced (well, there's Lead also). All the other anti-gunners don't want this enforced. I find that very strange.

This is the new narrative the government wants us to believe - that because Hunter Biden was prosecuted - suddenly the criminal justice system is "fair and balanced" (excuse the pun). Here's the reality - neither Trump being prosecuted, nor Hunter being prosecuted has anything at all to do with the unfairness of our INjustice system. The wealthy, powerful and connected do not give a rat's ass about Hunter or Trump - they are not part of the 1% they care about. They are outsiders causing problems they don't want to see in the news. Prosecuting them is taking care of their problem just like when the eliminated Epstein, Ken Lay or Bernie Madoff. Yes, those people are wealthy - but they have nothing to do with the slanted justice system only prosecuting the poor and people they don't like or cause them problems. The wealthy still do not go to jail. Trump will not go to jail. Hunter will probably not go either - although he might serve a token term for appearances sake.

The only people turning the law on it's head are the wingnutty Supreme Clowns. Throwing out established law every time they put on their (unearned) robes.

The only people turning the law on it's head are the wingnutty Supreme Clowns. Throwing out established law every time they put on their (unearned) robes.

I find it pretty humorous that you disparage the supreme court every chance you get, especially when many of the decisions are 9-0 in favor of that change. This means the law in effect was not built on any solid constitutional grounds at all. And both sides of the court are in agreement on that.

Lets just take Roe v. Wade, which is the sheep's favourite "example" of a "wrongful" court. It wasn't changed because of it's "idea" (the formalization of medical rights for the nation). Is that a good idea? Obviously, there are a lot of "opinions" on that, but me (for one) don't think that's a bad idea. What the justices decided was that wasn't a constitutional authority of the federal government. I did agree with the decision based on the constitution. (the inclusive) AND I think there should be a "normalization" of that idea among the states. AND that is going to be a fairly hard thing to do legally.

So honestly, unless your comic book "art" "degree" trained you in constitutional law, it's time to quit bitching about it.

There are far better countries for you to live in that are closer to your ideals. Any country that started as a monarchy or a despot dictatorship that must control it's people will do.. There's lots of them.

    Amen, OD. Preach it.

  15. by Indy! on June 14, 2024 12:55 pm

The way I remember it - the current 6 bought and sold whores who constitute the rightwingnut majority of the Supreme Clowns did not have a vote when it came to Roe. 🤔

  16. by Indy! on June 14, 2024 12:57 pm

And why are you getting personal again, OD? Oh - that's right - because you don't have the intellectual firepower to keep up with armadillo roadkill, much less me.

Actually, it's because 1. It's true. 2. you do it all the time and never get called on it, and 3. It's the only way of dealing with someone absolutely fabricates and lies about everything they say. You're pathological.

  18. by Indy! on June 15, 2024 10:43 am

The pathological liar is now crying about others lying because he lost our bet.
