It's been over a year in the making, but nothing has been made. It's embarrassing for the Republicans to throw in the towel; it's embarrassing for them to continue. Biden haters must be very disappointed that it's all for naught.

Fate of Biden impeachment inquiry uncertain as Hunter Biden testifies before House Republicans
(CBS News)[Moving it out of committee] would leave the decision on holding a full House vote to impeach the president to Speaker Mike Johnson, who might be expected to avoid putting it on the floor to face a likely defeat.

An alternative strategy, which Democrats are already predicting, is that House Oversight Chairman James Comer and his Republican colleagues, who have led the congressional investigation into the Bidens, will drag out the inquiry. They may call more witnesses, hold more hearings and in doing so, score political points against Mr. Biden as the presidential campaign moves into the general election phase.

"Comer at least seems to understand that the political math is not there for impeachment," [Jamie] Raskin told CBS News. "It is possible that the so-called investigation lingers on — kind of like Confederate War soldiers lost in the woods someplace who didn't hear that the war was over."

Comer has suggested his inquiry is not finished. Hunter Biden's deposition "is not the conclusion of the impeachment inquiry," he said. "There are more subpoenas and witness interviews to come. We will continue to follow the facts to inform legislative reforms to federal ethics laws and determine whether articles of impeachment are warranted."

Of course, Curt. But don't be a credulous fool. Comer ain't po. He ain't AOC. He ain't Nancy Pelosi.

All the GOPs have ever said is that sumpthin stinks about the Bidens... and that an investigation is necessary.

Why you can't stop lying about this fascinates me. Since the Hunter testimony, Comer's been all over right-wing media saying that they nailed Hunter over and over again. His testimony defies objective fact revealed in dozens of documents... and that the investigation continues.

    Period and baha!

    You freakinfrigginEFFIN liar.

Oh, and FYI, what's happening is EXACTLY what ol pb's been saying since the days that Kevin McCarthy was pushing an Impeachment Inquiry... the GOPs be holding hearings in the spring... during Primary season and while the Trump lawfare is peaking... and, that it's extremely unlikely that the GOP...

...which is the home of openness and inclusion, acceptance, diversity, tolerance and FREEDOM!... would muster the political will to impeach "that feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap."

Review my posts. I nailed it... as accurately as Isaiah predicted the birth of the Messiah of a virgin. (Isaiah 7:14)

I watched the entire Turley interview. No wonder you like him. He confuses the same things you do. Knowing somebody is in business is not the same knowing their business. Turley talks about influence pedaling, but doesn’t name a single policy that Biden influenced that was not to the benefit of United States. So where is the evidence that any influence was peddled?

I also watched some of the ad at the end. It was for a miracle weight loss product called the Coffee Loophole. No dieting, no exercise, just drink this particular brand of coffee. That advertiser knows a gullible audience when he sees it. That’s why advertisers love FOX News; their viewers will believe anything!

Lucky for you you are so singularly clear minded.

Turley talks about influence pedaling, but doesn’t name a single policy that Biden influenced that was not to the benefit of United States.

C'mon man. Gimme a break! Ain't it obvious!!!!!? As an example, ballpark how many b-b-b-billions Joe has funneled to Ukraine? How many more billions is he going to the mat for even as we exchange these posts?

    Just ballpark, now!!!!!?

I refuse you to believe that you are that stoopid.

Curt, you will never convince someone as gullible as Hate is of how gullible they are.

Their gullibility makes them gullible to their own gullibility, as well as to anything else they gullibly swallow. Their gullibility just breeds more gullibility. It's a vicious feedback loop he can never escape. They get trapped in it and can't even tell which way is up any longer.

So, po. Do you believe Hunter when he said he lied?

  7. by Curt_Anderson on March 2, 2024 4:43 pm
If Biden committed a crime by supporting Ukraine’s defense against their aggressive neighbor, Russia, then Congress is complicit too. Congress authorized the spending.

He was under oath wasn’t he? Unless there is a reliable witness or evidence to the contrary, there’s no reason not to believe him. Both Hunter Biden and his counsel know too much about the law to lie under oath. Hunter Biden could, but he did not, avail himself of his fifth amendment rights.

You did not read the transcript. What Hunter Biden said is that IF he had texted that his father was sitting next to him, that would’ve been a lie. I know this must be a disappointment to you, and apparently the Jonathan Turley, but lying is not against the law, except in certain situations, such as during courtroom testimony. And that’s lucky for you!

    Curt,

There's that famous "sonofabitch" moment when Joe claimed credit for the firing of that nasty Ukrainian prosecutor, an earlier act of reciprocation for financial considerations the Crime Family apparently received. Just don't bother suggesting that Joe's never done anything that could be actions bought and paid for by bribes Hunter raked in for "the Big Guy."

  9. by Curt_Anderson on March 2, 2024 5:55 pm
I don't have to suggest it, HtS multiple fact checkers have confirmed it. Specifically the supposedly "wrongful" dismissal of the prosecutor Victor Shokin which you allude to. See link.

The gullible Fox crowd / advertisers connection is absolutely stunning if you ever watch Fox for a half hour or so. I'm getting prepping to go see my Dad for a few days which means I'll be exposed to more Fox "reporting" in a half hour than I need in my entire life. The ads are comical con jobs... buy gold at inflated prices, buy pillows at inflated prices, wear a copper threaded sleeve to cure those painful knees, lose weight by taking one pill a day... The number of legitimate advertisers is borderline nil on that network.

Now that said - the Ds managed to gin up enough fake criminal activity to impeach Trump TWICE! Are you telling me the GOP can't even manage to impeach Biden ONCE? 🤨

  12. by Ponderer on March 2, 2024 11:44 pm

Indy!, most of the ads on MSNBC are for pharmaceuticals.
