I hate the Swamp. Duh.
I dropped my membership in the Dem party, what?, 7? 8?, years ago. I'm now a GOP.
I was disquieted when Donald Trump overwhelmed all opposition to win the GOP nomination in 016. I decided to vote for him in 016 two days before the election after a long conversation with my wife. I didn't feel good about it and consoled myself because I did my part to spare the nation from Hillary.
I despise Trump. I think he's despicable.
But, I am anti Swamp. Trump is the strongest voice against the Swamp, no matter how flawed he may be.
I'm not a big fan of Mitch McConnell. He's the ultimate SwampGOP of this century. He represents the DC insider GOP in a way that often sickens me.
But, I watched Bret Baer's interview of McConnell on Tuesday night.
And, whadayaknow? I absolutely agree with Mitch on Afghanistan. I have been clear here about my view that we should not have left Afghanistan. Mitch makes that case.
Here's the amazing thing about Mitch and me and virtually the whole GOP universe:
Joe Biden, with his historically disastrous mangling of the Afghanistan withdrawal has healed all strife among GOPs but, then, apart from Curt and Donna and po here how many Americans are defending what Joe has done? Even much of the SwampMedia admits that Joe blew it. The SwampMedia's now significantly focused on how best to repair the mess Joe has made.
So, thanks to that perverted and demented doddering old fart from Delaware who remembers the day when he used to drive an 18 wheeler. You've brought the GOPs together.
