If you hadn't realized it, private and taxpayer money is funding Hamas and PLFP causes. I know this is one of those "duh, Captain Obvious" but now there's a link of pass-through money from big donors, government grant money, and CCP. Pass-though businesses are routinely used to conceal the source and receiver of brown or dark money. It's very common in trans-national illicit funding and terrorist funding, along with trillions of dollars of cartel money.

Democratic dark money giant behind anti-Israel protests has scored $81M in taxpayer dollars

An influential liberal dark money group propping up anti-Israel activism across the United States has pocketed massive amounts in taxpayer-backed grants and contracts in recent years, according to a Washington Examiner analysis of federal spending records.

The Tides Center, which funds organizations behind Hamas-sympathetic protests held after the terrorist faction's deadly Oct. 7 attack against Israel, has long helped shape the progressive agenda with the financial backing of billionaire philanthropists such as Bill Gates and George Soros. But the Democratic-allied charity sitting on hundreds of millions of dollars in assets also retains another key supporter in the federal government, which directly or through subawards steered more than $81.2 million to the Tides Center between 2006 and 2023, documents show.

The U.S. government's extensive support for the Tides Center is a window into how taxpayer dollars regularly flow to charities closely affiliated with the anti-Israel movement. The Tides Center has faced scrutiny from conservatives for facilitating a dark money pass-through system allowing wealthy Democrats to pour donations into initiatives housed under the nonprofit group, whose projects do not have to file their own tax forms with the IRS. This process, known as fiscal sponsorship, has the effect of obscuring sources for donations to and from the California-based charity.

In addition, "The People's Forum" (also associated with the Waves Foundation) has been a major source of CCP money flowing in.

The flood of cash to the People's Forum underscores how far-left organizations boosting China and other overseas interests have gained significant footing in the U.S. in recent years. On Wednesday, the GOP-led House Ways and Means Committee held a hearing that, in part, focused on foreign money flowing through nonprofit groups. David Chung, general manager for the People's Forum, did not respond by email to questions from the Washington Examiner about the source of the charity's enormous 2022 revenue spike.

The People's Forum has hailed China's "new era led by Xi Jinping," the CCP's general secretary, and held events backing China's "revolutionary struggle." The nonprofit organization, which gained IRS tax-exempt status in 2017 and claims to be intent on "bringing socialist ideas to the new generations of organizers and activists," is behind rallies "in solidarity" with Palestinians after the Oct. 7 attack, which saw Hamas and other terrorist factions murder more than 1,200 people in Israel.

In late October, the People's Forum even reposted a video on social media of Leila Khaled, a convicted Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine terrorist, discussing "the unbreakable resistance of the Palestinian people to the Zionist project," the Washington Examiner reported. The People's Forum shared flyers on social media on Wednesday encouraging the public to attend a "March for the Martyrs" rally in New York City on Saturday to oppose "genocide in Palestine."

It's adorable watching OD unwittingly discovering how his favorite war machine stays in business... like a baby taking his first steps. 🤗

I think it's "cuter" when you deflect when you're beaten so you have to make a joke🤔. Or is it that you're the joke?🤣

Why do you think that this would be a good organization for Indy! and I to support, olde dude? We're no fans of Hamas.

  4. by oldedude on December 25, 2023 10:11 am
They're anti Israel and pro- Terrorism. And they're paid off by the CCP.

  5. by Ponderer on December 25, 2023 12:23 pm

    But I am neither anti-Israel nor pro-terrorism.

Was there something else? Because you're making no sense at all, od.

Comical. OD - the "military expert" of the board, has absolutely no idea what that article is telling us about the situation. I'll give you a hint, OD... why did we leave all those munitions in Iraq when we left? And why did we do the same thing when we left Afghanistan? Keep following the bouncing ball.

  8. by oldedude on December 26, 2023 10:48 pm
Why did we "leave" them? because assholes (like you) kept saying they didn't exist. And they weren't that existent in Afghanistan (although the Russians did leave cyanide in the village wells) but those were you're butties, so you don't count that.

  9. by oldedude on December 26, 2023 10:58 pm
So actually knowing something about what you talk about is a good thing. Which you don't. You keep talking about half baked "theories" that don't exist except in your own conspiracy theory mind. Take off the tin foil hat sometime princess.

Oh, BTW, Afghanistan and Iraq aren't the same at all. Unbeknownst to you, they're different countries, in a different region and have very different cultures, governments, and histories.
