Waaaaaaay back in the day...probably before any of the current SS crowd was here, except Curt, of course, pb "identified" as a Dem and referred to Joseph Lieberman, Senator from Connecticut, as his quintessential pbDem. Lieberman was a key figure in the moderate Democratic Leadership Council, along with Bubba Clinton and Dick Gephardt (and later on, Fox News Contributor Harold Ford, Jr.).
pb remained a Dem until wackos of the po, Donna and isle ilk took over the party and turned it into a band of politically correct, elitist, electric limousine lovin cultists.
Still, Lieberman is among a few politicians pb's Most Admired category.
In this relatively brief video, Lieberman states his position on the Hamas raping and pillaging of the innocent elderly and women and children in Israel. As always, Lieberman says what pb wishes he had to wisdom and eloquence to express.
Three hours from this moment, Joe Biden will speak to the nation about the situation. Here's pb's take: If the Doddering Old Fool's string pullers can put these words in his mouth, a World War may be avoided and he may have a chance to win in 024.
Otherwise, Lieberman's No Labels party may very well wreak havoc in the SwampDem world...if the civilization survives Joe Biden.
