Hall agreed to testify truthfully in all further proceedings in the case.
That's bad news for Trump and the other defendants.

One of the 19 defendants in a Georgia racketeering case against former President Donald J. Trump and his allies pleaded guilty on Friday to five misdemeanor charges, under a deal with prosecutors in which he would receive five years of probation.

The guilty plea of Scott Hall, 59, a Georgia bail bondsman, was a significant victory for Fulton County District Attorney Fani T. Willis, who secured an agreement from Mr. Hall to testify against other defendants. As of Friday afternoon, no other defendants have taken pleas; two of them, the lawyers Kenneth Chesebro and Sidney Powell, are scheduled to be tried together starting next month after demanding speedy trials.

Mr. Hall had been charged with racketeering, as well as six other felonies, for helping to carry out a data breach at the elections office in rural Coffee County, Ga., in January 2021. He and other Trump allies were apparently looking for evidence of ballot fraud after Mr. Trump lost the 2020 presidential election in Georgia.

    Ponderer,
You have to hand it to the Democrats in being able to present compelling TV. First the J6 committee started the investigation with a series of interesting witnesses, damning testimony and evidence to keep the audiences tuning in and talking about it.

Then the DOJ and the local DA's created their own spinoff series, which might collectively be called the "The Trials of Donald Trump". Every week or so there is some fascinating revelation or development that makes the headlines. These courtroom dramas are better than any fictional series that you can find on TV or from a streaming service.

On the other hand, the Republicans' impeachment inquiry is the political equivalent of Geraldo Rivera's "The Mystery of Al Capone's Vaults". I don't expect it to be picked up by the major networks. The GOP pilot episode was a dud. Maybe it will appear on NewsMax.

No kidding, Curt. And with those long writers and actors strikes that are finally ending, there hasn't been any decent competition for them.

This Trials of Donald Trump series is a hit though! It's gonna likely run for years. And they'll never have to air reruns with so much fresh new material constantly on tap.

As far as this MAGA Productions Impeachment Inquiry of Democrat Doom series pilot goes, it's getting rather impotent ratings so far. It's not living up to the trailers they ran on heavy rotation. I think the writers strike probably hurt them pretty hard. The MAGA cast seemed to be winging it and ad-libbing their talent-less asses off out there the whole time.

I don't think any networks are going to be picking this series up for even one season.
