People who say they are voting for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. are probably low-information voters.

He also challenges "that feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap" himself to call for that investigation.

AND, he trashes the prosecutions of Trump... while saying that he'll vote for the Doddering Old Fool in 024.

WhataGoober, there, eh, isle!!!!!?

I would love to watch him debate the issue with any of the federal and state prosecutors or lawyers who are contributors to MSNBC that they have had on in the last month or so.

So tell me, Bill. Does he really believe that Trump hasn't committed any felonies?

Please give me an answer. This is a very important question.

  2. by HatetheSwamp on August 19, 2023 7:10 am

You're welcome to note what he's saying, po. Videos with him are all over YouTube. He loves being in front of cameras.

As you know, I've called him, "pb with a brain" so I wouldn't pretend to be able to speak for him. However, he's been clear that the New York, DC, and Georgia indictments are rooted in bad law.

I believe that he thinks that Trump behaved egregiously with the documents and that there's some likelihood that Trump will be convicted there.

Bottom line: He thinks that prosecutors have abused the law in targeting Trump.

Trump is despicable. But, here in the US, that's not a crime.

  3. by Ponderer on August 19, 2023 7:25 am

Well, I and a great many Americans believe that Trump abused the law by wantonly and flagrantly breaking so many of them.

  4. by HatetheSwamp on August 19, 2023 8:30 am

Yeah, I know. What you believe.

What the three Legal Goobers who make up pb's Legal Advisory Council say, in consensus, is that the prosecutors have searched in vain to find laws on the books to match what Trump actually did...apart, perhaps, in his handling of documents.

There's this issue with you woke, white electric limousine lib lovin progressives have with reality. You seem to think that Trump should be punished for being who he is. That's arrogant and sanctimonious and, well, group-narcissism.

pb was saying back on the old forum that Trump is despicable and he's too slimy to be convicted of a crime. So far, I'm right and we're at the point now that your side is going to have to trash our constitutional republic, and transform it into an authentic banana republic to send Trump off to jail.

My guess is that this Supreme Court won't allow that.

And, again, that's a pretty fair representation of the consensus on my three Legal Goobers.

And Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell were lawyers too. And they said that the election was stolen from Trump and that thousands of dead people voted and that Dominion voting machines switched votes to Biden.

    So... What's your point?

  6. by HatetheSwamp on August 19, 2023 9:05 am

Rudy and Sidney ain't on pb's Legal Goober Council. They're not objective.

  7. by Ponderer on August 19, 2023 9:09 am

I see. And your lawyers are?

You are positively and absolutely sure about that...?

  8. by HatetheSwamp on August 19, 2023 1:12 pm

    Well, po. Subjectivity is truth.

But, I've been following the coverage of the Supreme Court and other court related issues for more than 25 years. During that time, Dershowitz and Turley have distinguished themselves to me for their fair and informed analysis of pertinent issues and their ability to accurately predict the ultimate disposition of the cases.

Goober #3, Andy McCarthy, has come on my radar in the past year or so...primarily from my listening to that gay Guy Curt never heard of who is, himself, a committed journalist. McCarthy is a retired federal prosecutor of note. He's adept at analyzing indictments because he's secured many over recent decades.

You can, of course, seek the analysis of people who preach your gospel and who stoke the flames of those preferences and prejudices you bring with you to every moment of your life...as you normally do...and, as isle does with passion and conviction.

I prefer to seek to counter my own subjectivity in order to enhance my understanding of the real world.

    Carpe diem.

  9. by Ponderer on August 19, 2023 1:29 pm

So... I take all that hoobledy-blop to mean that yes, you are sure about it? Okay. That's fine. It was a simple question.

    Thanks.

  10. by HatetheSwamp on August 19, 2023 1:40 pm

    I'm extremely confident.
