The headline is from Rolling Stone...the most laughably elitist progressive publication pb knows of. Skim the article.
I first heard about the song, RICH MEN NORTH OF RICHMOND last week on the Glenn Beck program. Beck is on XSM so I listen when I'm in my hybrid.
FYI, Beck's still fairly big on radio. But, he's not right-wing anymore, technically. He's what's more dangerous to woke, white electric limousine lib lovin progressives: He's antiSwamp. Viciously.
Anyway, the song.
It's been on YouTube for five days. As I write this, the video has 8.7 million views. Interestingly, I checked it out before I did my PT exercises this morning. It had 8.5 million. When I finished, 45 minutes later: 8.7.
I linked to a video that includes lyrics.
Memo to all you wokesters: This ain't right wing. It's blue collar antiSwamp. My guess is that Indy'd groove on it. And, the problem that you electric limousine lib lovers are in is that, pretty much everyone on the left I know of thinks that this is conservative. It absolutely ain't. This is not thinking you get from Fox News, nor Clay and Buck. Nor that gay Guy Curt never heard of.
You are, as po'd say, effinOutoftouch.
The song is blatant and it's angry. It's becoming an antiSwamp anthem.
Feel free to listen. If you are woke, understand. This is a revolt against everything we think you love:
