June is a sort of holiday season for me in my creating of rage-rants against all things woke. In June...LGB TQ Pride Month...the most bizarre examples of woke thinking are encouraged to slither out from under their rocks with the promise that they'll be taken seriously.


In our house, we watch almost no TV and very little TV entertainment...and no TV entertainment from American sources. For both of us, the best entertainment TV has to offer in New Zealand's, THE BROKENWOOD MYSTERIES, which is, very roughly, MURDER, SHE WROTE. Lots of murder in a town of about 3,000 people.

The woke agenda has moved more slowly among kiwis than Americans. The people of New Zealand still give themselves permission to laugh. BROKENWOOD laughs at issues absolutely verboten here. How, as po'd say, EFFIN refreshing...although po don't laugh.

Our favorite episode of BROKENWOOD deals with former patients of, well, an insane asylum, all of whom are still bonkers. Can you imagine!!!!? One character thinks his late wife's soul resides in a horse, another carries a screwdriver with him because he's obsessed with dismantling anything he can and,...

...another thinks she's a mouse.

There's a line in the episode where the head cop notes, "they say species dysphoria is a real thing."

Species dysphoria is a real thing, exactly like gender dysphoria is real.

Check the video. I promise to 86 the Piers Morgan stuff but during Pride Month, he's relevant.

One reality of Pride Month 023 is that the most essential claims of the transgender crowd...and the demands...are being examined...no longer accepted without rational analysis by all the heads of pb's three-headed monster that is destroying the woke trans political agenda and trans ideology:

1. Old-school Title IX feminists.
2. Anti-TQ LGB groups and activists. And,
3. po's "fascistic and disgusting" "MAGA Republican" "Christian theocrats" i.e., the mommies and daddies and nannas and pappaps who merely want to raise their kids without government intrusion.

It's a truth that when people accept the thinking and the demands related to dysphoria they open themselves up to absurdity...as this video makes plain, with real life examples.


Donna has been saying that there's nothing new going on with Pride Month this year, but I think Donna's in pretty serious denial. In the US, we know that state legislatures are considering, heck passing!, bills designed to protect children and families and the entire female sex from excesses that trans and queer people want to inflict on them. And, in British media, more and more, the dysphoria gospel is being critiqued...and made to be the butt of jokes.

How far into the future can it be that, in the US, those "fascistic and disgusting" "MAGA Republican" "Christian theocrats" will be laughing, too?

Still, people don't despise or laugh at trans people. It's the woke thinking,...the trans political agenda and trans ideology that's the issue.

Gender dysphoria ain't a choice. Woke thinking, though, absolutely is.

Quite unlike gender dysphoria. But the real choice, the important choice here is whether one wants to see "woke" as a good thing or a bad thing. That is the actual choice you are talking about, Bill. You want everyone to think it's a bad thing. To you, being aware "of systemic injustices and prejudices, especially those involving the treatment of ethnic, racial, or sexual minorities" is a bad thing. A very very bad thing. That's pretty much how bigots like you react to anything regarding race or ethnicity. You want to remain asleep to the injustices that have been and are being perpetrated upon minorities in this country. You do not want to have to be conscious "of systemic injustices and prejudices, especially those involving the treatment of ethnic, racial, or sexual minorities" in this country. Like HELL you'll be! To you, even people simply being aware of the institutional injustices foisted upon minorities in this country for many decades is a very bad thing. In fact, others being aware of or expressing racial anything anymore is enough to pull a knee-jerk, rage-inducing hair trigger for you bigots. That's how far overboard you've gone with it. You just want everyone to remain asleep to all the injustice so you can ease your conscience to what you are allowing to go on and what went on in the past. You want others to even ignore their own ethnicity and just shut the hell up about it because it's a blaring reminder to you racist bigots of all the injustices that the White Conservatives have imposed on ethnic, racial, or sexual minorities in our history and presently. I'll warrant that you are even seething with panic and reflexive rage right now just from me bringing it all to your attention. Because you don't really want it to stop. You are perfectly content with the racial injustice and inequality in this country. Heck, it doesn't affect you at all so what's the big deal? But geez, if all these minorities get the same treatment under the law as you do, why then your rights become less special to you. Less meaningful. Even less sacred. And you can't have that! You simple-minded bigots used the same stupid logic to fight against same sex marriage. Racist white bigots lacking anything resembling basic human empathy like you, Bill, absolutely despise being reminded of the racial and minority injustices being done to others. It's something you want to ignore. To deny. To downplay. To gas light. To erase from history even if you can pull it off. And it's a reality that you bigots believe our precious young white minds must be protected from even knowing about at all costs! You don't want them learning from the mistakes of the past, because you want those mistakes to continue on their merry way well into the future. He said that during Pride Month, he laced his baseball spikes with rainbow laces. When asked why, he said he was celebrating Pride Month and that he's gay. It was festive, upbeat and of course supportive of the LGBTQ community. I enjoyed the conversations in the booth with LGBTQ community leaders. Hall of Fame pitcher Jim Palmer who frequently does color along with the play-by-play guy seemed particularly supportive of the LGBTQ community. MLB clubs hold LGBTQ Pride events because they're good for the sport.
