My point is that two years ago, Pride Month was copacetic for gays. Many of the population that ain't woke just did the eye roll thing, grinned and bore it.
I pointed out that last year that pb AKA peebs AKA lead picked up a stern frustration among unwoke LGBs with what supporters of the trans political agenda and trans ideology have to the community, so much so that pb promised to follow LGBTQ tensions during the 023 celebration.
**yawn**
There have always been L's and G's that don't like being grouped with T's.
And I've never given a crap what they think. I've never been a group-joining type. I don't need an LGBYQAI coalition. Never did.
Donna, do you really think it's same old same old?
Here's why I don't. Bud Light did what, a year ago, would have be a standard, innocuous outreach to the LGBTQ community with that Dylan Mulvaney TikTok video. What, a year ago, would have been a nothing burger exploded among who?, old-time rockers and NASCAR types. And, wait until SEC football kicks off.
Target went a tad too far pushing effin trans swim suits for biological males who still have a package and, ultimately, because it operates on so close a margin, it may not survive because the mommies and nannas of pb's mommies and daddies and nannas and pappaps who merely want to raise their kids without government intrusion i.e., po's "fascistic and disgusting" "MAGA Republican" "Christian theocrat" group went bonkers.
That's not to mention the growing power of the Libs of TikTok group that now has 2.3+ effin MILLION followers on Twitter...
...which is followed by GAG which started during the last Pride Month and now has a third of a freakin million Twitter followers and is leading a growing and well organized anti-TQ LGB movement.
You are the SSer who first pointed out the hundreds of "anti-trans" bills being proposed in state legislatures across the US. Many of them are now law. Some of those laws are, as you say, fascistic and disgusting.
So, same old same old? Really?
