And I've never discussed them because they know where I have to do my job and that's it and they have to make their own judgments."

The logical argument to that is that the business deals are a subset of business dealings. Dealings are much more encompassing. Dealings are more inclusive of who you're dealing with, maybe their families, political ramifications (meaning law, the political minefields, who's voting for what, which politicians support you,* etc), the deals per se, how work life is going on in general, if you're making money, losing money, business is good, business isn't good, etc. * politics are included in every business, so I'm not picking on anyone.
