Don't you want the findings of the Commission to be accepted? That's in addition to the Republicans who were involved before and during the insurrection. Most people, whether they admit it or not, realize there was a criminal attack on Congress and the electoral process. Voting not to investigate it won't make it go away. There will be investigations and trials regardless. I understand Nancy Pelosi will have a House committee investigation of the 1/6/2021 riots. There have been hundreds of arrests stemming from the insurrection. Some suspects will probably plead guilty and others will go to trial. There are lawsuits by Capitol police and others naming Giuliani and Trump as defendants. So the public will be hearing and learning about the events that led up to and transpired on that ignoble day in American history.
