The “rationality” you claim you and OD have is of course not rationality at all, rather it is your ability to “rationalize”. I doubt you are able to tell the difference between the two.
It’s likely that this is why you have such a difficult time actually thinking and responding rationally to so much of what we discuss here. It helps explain why, when confronted with a rational thought that threatens one of your preconceived opinions or beliefs, your mind sort of freezes up you respond with non sequiturs and/or try to misdirect the discussion. It’s a defensive mechanism on your part that helps you avoid facing and dealing with the truth.
It explains why, for example, when confronted with your TDS you respond with, ”TDS is about derangement. Irrationality” as if that protects you from your own TDS.
Here’s what TDS means (from the Acronyms dictionary):
TDS is an acronym for Trump Derangement Syndrome, a term applied to people who express deep loathing and fear of President Donald Trump. It’s usually used by Trump supporters for liberals.
Naturally it’s a pejorative term but your incessant expressions of loathing of Trump fits the very definition of TDS...But you can’t see that. You have “rationalized” it away by convincing yourself that if any of us “liberals” dislike Trump for the same very reasons you do, the liberals must be deranged...but you are not.
