Jimmy Kimmel Blasts Trump for Trying to Convince Disney to Censor Him

(Hollywood Reporter)Jimmy Kimmel reacted to revelations that President Trump’s administration tried to convince his Disney bosses to censor his late night talk show in 2018.

As reported by Rolling Stone, the then-president was so outraged by the Jimmy Kimmel Live! host’s ongoing jokes that he ordered his White House staff to phone “one of Disney’s top executives … to complain and demand action … The incident was so bizarre that news of it spread around the corridors of power in Washington.”


Putin bestows friendship award on actor Steven Seagal
MOSCOW (AP) — Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday bestowed a state decoration on Steven Seagal, the American action-movie actor who also holds Russian citizenship.

The awarding of the Order of Friendship was announced on the Russian government’s internet portal. The order recognizes people who Russia considers to have contributed to bettering international relations.

Seagal was a vocal supporter of Russia’s 2014 annexation of Crimea and last year visited the Russian-held Ukrainian town of Olenivka where dozens of Ukrainian prisoners of war were reportedly killed in an attack for which Russia and Ukraine have blamed each other.

    Throughout the Harry Potter series, JK Rowling establishes that Lord Voldemort is so feared in the wizarding world that it is considered dangerous even to speak his name. The Death Eaters, the most ardent followers of Voldemort, refer to him as "He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named" rather than say his name aloud.

    You are a Trumpy version of the Death Eaters, constantly imploring me and others not to talk about Trump even though Trump lords over the GOP and is the front runner for the 2024 Republican nomination.

    You're embarrassing the folks here who voted for Trump. They don't want anybody talking about him or mentioning his name any more! Shame on you! LoL

    And I'm not exactly surprised that Putin would be enamored with Steven Seagal, but maybe it's because;

    I think it's your fixation of Trump to think he "lords over the GOP and is the front runner for the 2024 Republican nomination" That just happened. DeSantis has been ahead up until now. And it's very, very, early. Most of the GOP don't answer polls.
