Gang,

It's Presidency 101 for the occupant of the White House to represent all Americans by being a physical presence among our citizens who are in crisis.

Duh!

Why didn't Joe go to East Palestine? Make a few remarks in the high school auditorium? shake the mayor's hand? Promise that all Americans wish them well? Guarantee that he'll make sure that everyone responsible for this disaster will be held to account?

Curious. Question: Are Joe's string pullers signaling that the Geezer-in-Chief's health is so fragile that it's too dangerous for him to be exposed to the dodgy East Palestine air?

Dunno.

As much as it has stunned me, obnoxious narcissist Donald Trump has been more presidential than the Flatulent Fool...

A Trump advisor told Fox News Digital the former president 'will never forget' the people of East Palestine

A source familiar with the former president’s plans told Fox News Digital that Trump will travel to East Palestine on Wednesday to meet with members of the community and community officials.

Trump is expected to donate thousands of gallons of cleaning supplies, along with 13 pallets of water to East Palestine. A single pallet typically holds a couple of thousand bottles of water. The former president is teaming up with nonprofit organizations Blue Line Moving and KORTX.

"President Trump is meeting with the citizens of East Palestine and will never forget them and what they are going through,..."

After more than two weeks, the Biden administration on Friday announced it would deploy medical personnel and toxicologists to East Palestine from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Gang. Trump is despicable but, clearly, he can't hold a candle to "that feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap."

    Lead-

I remember when the sheeple went (and still go nuts) because Bush jr. "only" saw the Katrina damage from the air. Within days. He didn't go down and see the damage personally, to talk to the people. He wasn't "present." So now, the same people are protecting that FDRPOC who choses not even to acknowledge there has been any damage at all. Prior to leaving for Europe, he could have at least made a statement that "this is high on my priorities and will be down on this day." I'm not really surprised though. It's not like they'll vote for him anyway, so fuk'em.

    (Permission to use a metaphor?)
History is just repeating itself. The sheeples' two-faced absolute adherence is a reminder of the 1930's Germany. When their "hero" came forth and showed THEM their way. The gatherings are different though. Now they burn down cities instead of goosestepping, arm in arm extoling the pride of being part of "their" movement. I guess they took their cue from Kristallnacht. Canceling small businesses of those they disagreed with. Allowed to harass and beat people for their beliefs.

And like here, their "leader" then had complete control of their media. With outliers being taken down one by one because they disagree with their hero.

And only the members of "the party" could have guns and protect themselves. This included the standard issue Kar 98k (their "assault rifle"). They didn't want any guns loose so common citizens could protect themselves against their own government.

    "(Permission to use a metaphor?)"

    First. Permission granted.
Second. You know that I'm the only poster here informed enough to get that. Their loss. Bahahahahahahahahahaha!

    Good'ne.

You are so bang on about Katrina and progressive SwampLovers hypocrisy.

I can't recall the last time I was ever this proud of an American president for visiting a foreign country.

This uniquely rare and praise-worthy historical event marks a clear point in which president Joe Biden has fully and definitively shaken off the embarrassing stench of the previous administration's actions on the world stage. He has restored the United States' place as the preeminent world leader. And he pulled it all off deftly an expertly with grace and skill. Not to mention bravery.

This is a giant feather in his cap. And one that even has a ton of bipartisan support, along with the approval of most of the country.

    Bravo, Mr. President. Bravo!

I also thought the trip was well worth it. There should have also been something said to the folks in OH, WV, MD that are going to be affected for the next few decades with water that will give all the birth defects, cancers, kill all the plants and wildlife.

Otherwise, as usual, I agree with him going.

"They didn't want any guns loose so common citizens could protect themselves against their own government."

That was just awful! I heard that two senators and a congressman shot 5 unarmed citizens in Texas !!! Probably just a rumor but it is an ever present danger.

😀Smiley said we should ban government employees from owning guns, but when he said that included the police and the military I said, "but they're not part of the government and 😀 said, "Yes they are" !!

Is that true? Is Smiley correct?
