Will this old history hurt DeSantis or will people be reminded of when Trump waltzed into the dressing room of a teen beauty pageant?

Trump amplifies posts claiming DeSantis was 'grooming high school girls'
Former President Donald Trump escalated his attacks on Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis Tuesday, seizing on a story that his rival for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination partied with underage students when he worked as a teacher at a Georgia high school.

In five successive posts Tuesday to his social media site, Truth Social, Trump went after DeSantis. Two of them referenced a story published by the far-right website Hillreporter.com that claimed DeSantis had been photographed "partying with underaged students" at the Darlington School, a private K-12 school in Rome, Ga., where DeSantis taught from 2001-02.

Trump reposted a photograph originally posted by a Truth Social member who goes by the handle Dong-Chan Lee, and who uses a profile photo of the alt-right meme Pepe the Frog, featuring Trump's signature hairdo. The image showed what appeared to be DeSantis flanked by three young women that had been captioned, "Here is Ron DeSanctimonious grooming high school girls with alcohol as a teacher."

Teen Beauty Queens Say Trump Walked In On Them Changing
Four women who competed in the 1997 Miss Teen USA beauty pageant said Donald Trump walked into the dressing room while contestants — some as young as 15 — were changing.

“I remember putting on my dress really quick because I was like, ‘Oh my god, there’s a man in here,’” said Mariah Billado, the former Miss Vermont Teen USA.

Trump, she recalled, said something like, “Don’t worry, ladies, I’ve seen it all before.”

Three other women, who asked to remain anonymous for fear of getting engulfed in a media firestorm, also remembered Trump entering the dressing room while girls were changing. Two of them said the girls rushed to cover their bodies, with one calling it “shocking” and “creepy.” The third said she was clothed and introduced herself to Trump.

Oh. I thought you were talking about woke teachers in woke schools.

    Sorry, my bad.

FYI, that gay Guy you'd never heard of devoted a whole segment of today's show to this. He had several takes. One is that for Trump to be using this a year ahead of the first primary reeks of desperation. Another is that this was tried against DeSantis before and it went nowhere. And, he notes that it's the "Trump team" that that's fanning the flame. What I kept waiting for him to say that this is coming from the pu$$y grabber. He didn't say it.

pb's been following what the GOP establishment is doing with the bombs OrangeMan's launching at DeSantis. Lead balloon. But, again, the GOP establishment opposed Trump in 016 up to the Convention.

DeSantis responds to the groomer allegations without denying them:

"I spend my time delivering results for the people of Florida and fighting against Joe Biden. That's how I spend my time," DeSantis said Wednesday. "I don't spend my time trying to smear other Republicans."

Are you referring to Ron DeSantis? Sometimes he sounds like a queeny gay man when he talks... not that there's anything wrong with that.

Yeah, obviously the state really doesn't care after he won his election (landslide) and took the majority in the house and senate. AND he still goes to the dims to get bipartisan bills passed. Even though he doesn't have to. He just does because he actually cares about his state.
