The sane people here kicked and screamed over the Big Brother thuggery of Merrick Garland and the FBI. Curt, especially, praised it. Now, the truth emerges.

The FBI arrested Houck in front of his family at his home last September.

At the time, an attorney for Houck accused the DOJ of targeting the pro-life activist “solely to intimidate people of faith and pro-life Americans.”

“Rather than accepting Mark Houck’s offer to appear voluntarily, the Biden Department of Justice chose to make an unnecessary show of potentially deadly force, sending twenty heavily armed federal agents to the Houck residence at dawn this past Friday,” said the attorney representing Houck, Thomas More Society Vice President and Senior Counsel Peter Breen.

“In threatening form, after nearly breaking down the family’s front door, at least five agents pointed guns at Mark’s head and arrested him in front of his wife and seven young children who were terrified that their husband and father would be shot dead before their eyes,” Breen added.

Any reason to doubt that the GOP is justified in holding hearings on the weaponization of government?

At least justified still is possible...for now, anyway.

I did not "praise" Houck's arrest. I made no judgment about his guilt or innocence. Read the link below to refresh your memory. I merely expressed skepticism of your claim that a "group between 25 and 30 heavily-armed FBI agents raided the Bucks County, Pennsylvania, home of Catholic leader, pro-life author and activist Mark Houck".

I see that the NR article doesn't repeat that claim.

Fair enough, Curt. You Big Bothered and Good Germaned it. IOW, you were breathing. Bahahahahahahahahahaha.

  3. by HatetheSwamp on January 31, 2023 3:47 am

A SWAT Team of around 25 people shockingly showed up at Houck’s house pounding on the family’s door.

"They said they were going to break in if he didn't open it," wife Ryan-Marie previously told Catholic News Agency, "and then they had about five guns pointed at my husband, myself and basically at my kids."

This coming after the trial, with all deals being established.

Curt, you really should get some counseling for your Good German-ism. Some day you could harm yourself.

Yes, I know that Houck and his wife made the claim. Fox repeated the claim, and you repeated what you heard on Fox. Other than there’s say so there’s no evidence this ever happened. Amazingly, if you were to believe the story 25 to 30 FBI agents showed up at a single family house and there’s absolutely no photographic evidence of the event. Incredible in this age of the ubiquitous smart phone camera.

What’s not so amazing is that you could not substantiate your claim that I praised the arrest in your opening post.

You've got to remember, Curt. Hate doesn't need facts or evidence or data to ever support his claims. They are simply true for him in his littl demented bubble because he wants them to be.

You expect a mother, under those circumstances, to ignore her traumatized children to grab her smart phone to snap some photos. C'mon man, gimme a break!

The Houck's account of the fibbies' behavior is consistent with what no one can deny about the raid of Melania's undies' drawer.

Again, get yourself some therapy for your Big Brother-ism.

Lack of evidence is not evidence. If I believed my spouse was a victim of law enforcement, I’d take a photo… but that’s just me.

Never mind that, show us and quote me where I supposedly praised his arrest. I gave you the link.
