Fox News hosts Jesse Watters and Greg Gutfeld lost it Tuesday when they learned former Vice President Mike Pence was also joining the classified documents club after aides found a “small number of documents” in his Indiana home.

“Pence, seriously. We have this great thing going with Joe,” Watters said on Tuesday’s edition of “The Five” before Gutfeld interjected: “And he just ruined it!”

Watters then pointed out that while Pence confessed to having the documents — signaling to Pence’s cooperation with the investigation being completed by the FBI and the Justice Department’s National Security Division — Watters says he “could’ve just destroyed it.”

Yeah, Curt...and all our progressive SwampLovers...this is a point pb's been thinking about making for a while now.

The only "news" that pb watches regularly is FOX AND FRIENDS and THE FIVE...with a smattering of MORNING JOE for contrast for contrast and, occasionally, the GUTFELD! monolog just for fun.

Except for GUTFELD!, which is mostly potty jokes, pb doesn't watch Fox for the news. Almost all of Fox and MSNBC is insipid preaching to the choir but pb does enjoy the Fox entertainment.

On MORNING JOE, every time pb watches...no matter what the story of the day is...everyone is always pi$$ed...all the time. On Fox, FOX AND FRIENDS and, especially, THE FIVE, the on air gang, is always lighthearted...no matter what the story of the is. Laughter is the order of the day on Fox. On MSNBC, the default is agita. Agita always. AGITA ALL THE TIME!

    So, yeah, Curt.

Jesse Watters and Greg Gutfeld lost it Tuesday when they learned former Vice President Mike Pence was also joining the classified documents club after aides found a “small number of documents” in his Indiana home.

pb saw that, too. Bahahahahahahahahahaha. You might say the guys "lost it." But, they weren't pi$$ed. They were pi$$in their pants, laughing. And, mostly?, they were laughing at you progressive SwampLovers. Because they know you. This was an exchange the two, apparently, sketched out ahead of time, spoofing. As, on our side, we do.

What do you think? Is thewrap.com intentionally misrepresenting? Or, did they see a transcript and not get it?

At any rate, pb's glad he's merely a Biden obsessed antiSwamper. When pb does a bahahahahahahahahahaha, ahhhhhhhhhhh here, he's being genuine. But, you TDSers? po, especially, isle too, but all of you...along with the MSNBC gang, and the progressive Swampcult TDS world. You're so effin angry. Seemingly, it's in your DNA. Baha!

Bahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahaha hoohoohoohoohoohoohoo heeheeheeheeheeheehee hahahahahahahahaha heeheeheeheeheeheehee hoohoohoohoohoohoohoo heeheeheeheeheeheehee hahahahahahahahaha heeheeheeheeheeheehee hoohoohoohoohoohoohoo heeheeheeheeheeheehee hahahahahahahahaha ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

Last week I posted that I think that government documents, especially the classified ones are going to start turning up at the homes of many former and current elected officials.

I think the problem is that until recently, to my knowledge there has never been a scandal about it. So nobody took the law seriously.

  3. by HatetheSwamp on January 25, 2023 7:22 am

We'll see, Donna. I suspect that you will be proved correct. It's time for a bipartisan and bicameral investigation.

At this point, considering what the DOJ let Hillary get away with AND the Clouseau scandal and now Pence's admissions, antiSwamp pb absolutely hopes the DOJ files charges against Trump.

At this point, as I see it, the only person even remotely at risk for being charged is "that feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap." Congressional Dems are criticizing the Former Trucker for having documents from his Senate days. That's an issue. And, again, if any of the documents the Flatulent Fool swiped connect to crimes or financial improprieties exposed on Hunter’s laptop...Joe Biden is toast.

    Donna,
Here is my theory. I think people actually take the law seriously enough I don’t believe for a minute that Joe Biden or Mike Pence knowingly removed classified documents from their offices. I believe as I said before that the system is screwed up and that NARA does not have as much control over classified documents as my local library does over the books they loan out.

In Mike Pence’s, and Joe Biden’s cases they followed normal procedure and worked through their final morning, and then attended the inauguration ceremonies for their successors. Meanwhile their staffs hurriedly, hectically and frantically packed up their belongings. Any documents that Mike Pence or Joe Biden ended up with was purely unintentional.

On the other hand, in Donald Trump’s case, he refused to go to Joe Biden’s inauguration and left town a few days early. His staff could more leisurely pack up. Donald Trump has a well-known case of entitlement. I suspect that he directed his staff to take certain classified documents that he felt he owned and/or wanted to keep as momentos. Since the archives doesn’t seem to know who has what documents, I suspect that the way the national archives knew about the missing Mar a Lago classified documents was because one or more of Trump’s staffers blabbed.

Based on what Dick Durbin and Adam Schiff are saying, you can't accidentally remove classified documents as a member of Congress.

  6. by Curt_Anderson on January 25, 2023 10:20 am
Schiff and Durbin are correct. Members of Congress can only look at classified documents inside a scif, And they have to leave their cell phones and of course, cameras, outside. The rules are different for the administrations. The entire West Wing is considered to be a scif

  7. by Donna on January 25, 2023 10:29 am

Some of the classified documents found at Biden's home reportedly were from when he was a senator.

Biden's and Pence's staff had plenty of time to pack up their stuff. I think if document handling regulations were taken seriously, their staffs would have been on the alert for classified documents when they were packing up their stuff.

    Donna,
A week or two ago on NPR Morning Edition there was an interview of somebody who was familiar with the security and classification process by virtue of working for the NSA or somebody. Anyway he related an example of an item that accidentally was removed from the White House. The only classification markings were in the appendix of a multipage document.

I don't think that presidents or veeps have "plenty of time to pack" as you suggest. They cannot have all their papers and possessions in crates and boxes while in their last days in office--after all WWIII or some calamity might occur and they need to respond quickly.

What could happen though is that the outgoing administration's staffs should promptly pack up during the inauguration ceremony. When their stuff is unpacked wherever it is sent a special FBI or DOJ team could then take all the time they need and scrutinize each and every document and remove anything that's marked as classified.

It's obvious that OrangeMan, even when he was trying to undo the election, ended up with the documents he wanted but, then, maybe Joe's just stoopid.

"It's obvious that OrangeMan, even when he was trying to undo the election..." HtS

The term you are looking for is "insurrection".

  11. by Donna on January 25, 2023 12:23 pm

    From the Merriam-Webster dictionary:

insurrection : an act or instance of revolting against civil authority or an established government

That's very straightforward. Like Hts, Republicans often have a difficult time dealing with reality.

    ...and, apparently, it's incurable. Bahahahahahahahahahaha!
