For us down here. It was not a gimmick. We were open with restraints. No one was forced to be feloniously stupid. I still see people in masks, especially with the new flu and RSV. Everyone respects their decisions. No one is screaming at each other.
Since close to the beginning of COVID, the whole idea down here is that people got the spiel the feds were telling us. Some of the folks started hearing about the Israeli science, which was much better than our CDC. Common sense took over. It's been constantly an individual's "choice." I know to the Marxists, "choice" is not in their vocabulary. Everything is forced. And big brother is the ultimate truth teller, and parent figure to them.
So you can say what you want. Ron has done a damn good job here. Crisis after crisis he's done an excellent job.
As far as those who "think" their "in the know"? Nothing could be further from the truth.
