I was going to name this "Paul Pelosi gets hammered in his own home" I chose not to.

Husband of Nancy had an intruder in their home last night. Paul sustained (Severe) head trauma from a hammer. The intruder kept screaming "where's Nancy!"

This is horrible. Simply said. I hope he has a full recovery.

    I find it amusing that libs don't show any emotion whatsoever about an attack to the spouse of the third most powerful position in our government. I find it appalling. Again, a hammer is the second worst weapon to be attacked with to the body (head included). I was expecting either a DOA or a critical condition. I do pray that he will recover. I don't have a clue how many times he was hit nor his actual condition now. It really doesn't matter. I'm happy for the cops. I wasn't there, but I would have been VERY tempted to take the shot. Maybe it wasn't clear or a thousand reasons. They did a great job. And thank you. My thoughts and prayers are with him. Seriously dude. get better. Fight. You're never out of that fight. just do it.

    It's a little unclear about the sequence events and other details. Paul Pelosi called 911. The reporting says that the perp told the cops "we're waiting for Nancy" then somehow started hitting Pelosi with a hammer in front of the cops. The cops tackled him.

    This intruder may not have been at the Capitol on Jan. 6, but he is a conspiracy nut of like mind.

    He'll be lucky if he's not brain-damaged. Not to mention at 82 recovery from any trauma is not easy.

    What's interesting about your response, is that it's completely political. This guy has a "Severe drug addiction" problem. and you turn it to Jan6. I'm more than a little disappointed in you.

    I do know from media reports that his social network is full of right-wing conspiracy theories. He's not a just a garden variety burglar. Incidentally, it seems the guy who broke into Hobbs' campaign HQ in AZ is an apolitical, garden variety burglar.

    Paul Pelosi called 911. The reporting says that the perp told the cops "we're waiting for Nancy" then somehow started hitting Pelosi with a hammer in front of the cops. The cops tackled him.

    Okay. Point by point. Paul actually hit a 911 button on his phone when he heard the glass breaking.

    Paul and the "suspect" fought. There was a Hammer involved (it doesn't matter who's hammer it was. it was on the scene.)

    When the defunded cops arrived, they found paul and the suspect locked in a fight. SUSP1 won the hammer and hit VICT several times in the head.

    WTF are you wondering about??????????

    I don't fukking care what religion, race. creed. colour, national origin, or political persuasion he is.

    For that matter, you don't "KNOW" that Pelosi was attacked. Neither of us were there. We are both taking the word of the media reports and what the SF police chief said in his presser what happened. But I am going a step beyond you and accepting as true the details about the perp.

    His drug of choice may just be MAGA lies.

    Are you saying that paul was the instigator in this? because I don't believe he was. at all. It just seems you're taking the perp's point of view. Which is different than the legal point of view. Please explain your point that "paul" is a perp and the guy trying to murder him with a hammer is not.

    The TRUTH is that paul was in a fight about the hammer. The cops, didn't shoot the perp.

    No, it's good that the perp survived. For the same reason it would have been better if Lee Harvey Oswald wasn't killed two days later. It would have answered a lot questions about that day in Dallas. Same with John Wilkes Booth.

    I have a hard time visualizing the scene in which the perp was talking to the cops THEN took a hammer to Pelosi in front of them.
