The Republican National Committee (RNC) has launched 73 lawsuits on election integrity points in 20 states through the 2022 midterm election cycle, a rise from 2020 that has already secured GOP victories in battleground states this 12 months.
This aggressive authorized method is an effort to satisfy RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel’s imaginative and prescient of creating this cycle the RNC’s “most litigious,” in keeping with an RNC spokesperson. The technique consists of offense-minded lawsuits, corresponding to suing Democratic secretaries of state and difficult Democrat-friendly election legal guidelines, and defensive actions that embody intervening in lawsuits introduced by the Biden administration in Republican states.
The lawsuits are the results of a “multimillion-dollar funding into constructing an election integrity operations infrastructure that attracts on its authorized, political, information and communications sources,” in keeping with RNC spokesperson Gates McGavick.
Yesterday, on CBS's FACE THE NATION, there was a segment which included an image of a GOP, wearing camo, stationed by a ballot drop box.
The Blue MAGA SwampMedia CBSers were beside themselves. They were deeply chagrined that GOPs are watching for ballot harvesting yet saying, "But, there's no cheating. There's no cheating!"
Can't have it both ways, there, Dems. If there's no cheating, no cheating, then just laugh at those paranoid GOPs. Hmmmm?
pb's take on this is that, for nearly 200 years, Dem cheating through Tammany Hall, through the Dem organized Jim Crow laws, to Mayor Daley's "Vote early and vote often" through the ingenious scheme to destroy the chain of custody in 020 and every place in between, Dems have always been two steps ahead of GOPs in cheating.
pb's suspicion is that Dems will cheat very selectively in 022. Watch Philadelphia. Watch Georgia. Michigan.
